The tool was used to drill holes inside the bed of my truck in order to install an aftermarket accessory. The drill bit drilled through the metal with no problems! The hole was clean on the front, and splayed out on the backside. I marked where I needed to stop with a sharpie and got it to stop on the mark without any problems. It just appears that the measurements did not quite line up perfectly with the "steps" and, after drilling 6 holes, it doesn't appear that they are staying as precise as they should be. In general, however, I am pleased with this and will use it for a number of.
I am the third Unibit of this size I have owned in the last 10 years it is not that they are poorly constructed, it is just that I am using them frequently. The only way I have found to cut gasket foil, if I do not have a punch that size, is to use this bit (it requires My list of uses for it keeps growing as I find new uses for it. The biggest difference between this and the other major brands in this style is that this one lasts the longest of all These tapered bits are used as impact On 1/8" titanium sheet (prepunched starter hole) I have run it at 7,500 rpm without incident and at 2 rpm as slow as I wanted. If you compare Unibits to HF or other expensive brands, you'll find they are less expensive, but you get quality and a long.
The Unibit definitely did wonders for me as an electrician. In the next few days, I'll buy another new one so that I have a fresh backup of the current one since it's been over a year and a half already.
It is essential for all fabricators, craftspeople, mechanics, and diyers to have Unibits. They've been used at work for years, and I finally bought one for my Take a look at these. They are truly the best!.
For anyone looking to use a snap toggle through metal studs, this is an excellent choice. (I am sure there are a million other uses but this is the one that I use daily. ) It feeds.
The drill bit I used was regular and I had done some modifications to my truck. My endurance and strength had depleted after the first few holes, so I gave up all hope. During the drilling of the rest of the holes, I found that this bit made the hole a bit cleaner and faster. The knife cuts through it like.
It is very effective for drilling into 1/2 inch metal studs. Compared to standard buys, it saves a lot of time and effort. It creates much cleaner holes as well.
Those are well made items, but I just used them so much (and probably abused them a bit as well). These bits are perfect for drilling metal in muscle cars that I restore as a hobby. This drill bit leaves a very clean hole when drilling sheet metal (unlike ordinary bits). Besides thin metal (3/8" steel), I've also used it on thick metal.
