For better cutting, I'd go with three teeth, especially if your logs are still green. If your machine can handle 3/4" wide blades, go for it; if not, 1/2" will suffice.
They are a low tension blade but the tension can be increased for large and wet wood they say 20 about 20 about 20 about 20 about 20 about 20 about 20 about 20 about 20 about 20 about 20
No way, 105-year-old. 3/4 is on the low end of the scale.

Despite mixed reviews, I decided to buy them anyway because the closest closet store that sells them is about an hour away. The blade wasn't a precise 105, and it was much longer than it should have been. The packaging was also only an envelope, not the typical box that woodworking stores use to sell their products in. Perhaps this is due to a packing decision made by the manufacturer, but in any case, this, combined with the inconsistent blade size, will cause me to avoid ordering the product from this site. Timber Wolf produces excellent blades, but something about these blades isn't quite right.
This could be a fantastic blade at an incredible price; it's razor sharp, has nice hard teeth, and resaws well even with the flaw. It's the weld joint that's causing the problem. Mine appears to be good, but it isn't straight. As it comes off and back on the guide wheels, the blade jumps forward and backward (not side to side), making a bothersome "tick tick tick" sound. I'd give it five stars if the weld was done better. I'll stick with the "woodslicer" even if it's $10 more expensive. It's a pity because it's so close to being perfect.
It wouldn't follow in the footsteps of any of them. I wished I could have given it a 0 out of 5 star rating. This blade was kinked, and the weld was bad. It didn't track like the rest of my timber wolf blades, and it shifted forward and back on the tires. I got a response right away! Because it wasn't in standard packaging, I'm almost certain it was a knockoff or off brand. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> br>After returining and contacting the seller, Chris promptly sent me a replacement blade, which works perfectly! I believe I've just gotten a bad one, which happens from time to time.
being offered for sale by a third party? These blades were purchased in bulk. As I was placing it on the bandsaw, the first one broke. Two more blades had kinks that rendered them useless (I was able to return one, but the flaw in the other unit was discovered after the return deadline had passed). The blades were not packaged in the typical yellow Timber Wolf box, but rather in a plastic bag with a xeroxed sheet of instructions. My theory is that a third party is purchasing Timber Wolf blades that failed quality assurance and reselling them as genuine Timber Wolf blades. br>br>My recommendation is to return the blade if it is not packaged in a yellow Timber Wolf box.
With the upgraded riser block on my 14" Jet 1HP bandsaw, this works perfectly. I previously tried the Timber Wolf 3/4" blade with 3tpi (without the riser), and I believe my 1HP bandsaw is underpowered for a 3/4" blade. It was extremely difficult to get stock through it. When I cut through a 10" board today with the 1/2" blade, the bandsaw didn't seem to struggle as much. I believe that the 4tpi helps move the wood a little faster than the 3tpi did, and that it had no negative impact on cut wandering.
I must say that I adore this blade. In comparison to lower-quality blades, this is particularly true. It cuts like a dream, but I only gave it three stars because the seam weld is uneven, so you have to find the lowest spot to set your thrust bearing when setting up your bandsaw, which is a little discouraging. Aside from that, I'm very pleased with this blade on my Jet 14" bandsaw with the 6" riser.
My father-in-law cuts a variety of things with my band saw. He has no idea what he's doing, and the last blade has become so dull that it won't cut warm butter. Having a new blade delivered to my shop was exactly what I needed to keep my sanity.
This is the third blade I've purchased. The first would have gotten a perfect score of five stars. The second blade had a terrible kink at the weld, so it wasn't as smooth as the first. The deflection is almost a quarter inch. It's essentially ineffective. The third blade was slightly better, but the weld was still slightly kinked. It cuts and tracks well, but it has a ticking sound that makes you nervous because it runs like a blade on the verge of breaking on the weld. I've been buying Timberwolf blades for a long time, and I'm hoping they can resolve what appears to be a quality control issue.
