I'm not sure where the blade comes from, but it's excellent. It easily cut through 1 3/4" red oak without igniting it.

This 1/2" blade was installed on a 1980s-era motorcycle. I used a vintage Delta 14 to rip some 2x4s into stock for a project I'm working on, and it worked well. It tracked well, and even though the surface wasn't particularly smooth, I planned to plane it down anyway. It's a good value for a budget blade, and it allows me to save money so I can invest in a few Timberwolf blades for projects that require a smooth cut.
From the beginning, I was in a lot of trouble. go to re- I've never seen anything thicker than a couple of inches. I also thought I was a complete moron because I couldn't cut curves to save my life. br>br>I finally decided to try some new blades, and I have to say, my bandsaw and Olson blades have won me over. The bandsaw is fantastic, and the curves I can now cut are incredible! br>br>Do yourself a favor and get these instead of the junk blades that came with your bandsaw. You'll be glad you took the time to do so.
Good price and well-packaged/labeled blades make it easy to keep track of them.
I couldn't get my bandsaw to cut straight no matter what I tried, so I bought this new blade and it worked perfectly! It cuts like it's brand new again, with no more drift.
This blade performed admirably when cutting 8/4 and 3 1/2 inch thick red oak. The oak was easily cut down with my saw. My saw was stalling because the blade that came with it was charring the oak. This is an excellent choice. It is something I strongly suggest.
I've used a variety of band saw blades from various manufacturers over the years, but this Olsen blade is by far the best.
I use a blade until there are no more teeth on it. I've used these before, and I'm pretty sure they were anticipating my arrival!.
I'm not sure how long they'll last because I've only had them for two weeks. They initially sent me the incorrect ones, but once I received the correct ones, they appear to work flawlessly. 4 tpi . 250, 750. They make trimming wood down to handle size very easy for me as a custom knife maker. Because I'm making knife handles, I don't mind the cut edge because I hand sand everything backwards.
