Questions & Answers

On the 29th of May, 2019, I purchased his blade. It appears that the tooth direction is incorrect. Is this something that can happen?

Good morning, Sir. br>Normally, teeth are oriented to the right. br>However, if you want to go left, simply turn the blade inside out, as if you were turning your socks inside out. br>Do you get what I'm saying? br>I just tried turning the blade teeth to the left, and it worked fine.br>If you couldn't understand what I was saying, please try contacting me here. Thank you for your time and consideration, and have a pleasant day. Best wishes, br>br>br>br>br>br>b br>br>Frank br>br>Frank br>br>Frank b

It has such a powerful impact!   For the price, these blades outperform my expectations by a factor of ten
5/5

I was completely wrong about 15 of them. They haven't lost a single tooth or become dull in the course of the day. I've put them through their paces 12 times now. So far, I've spent 15 hours cutting steel tubing with walls ranging from 1/8" to 1/4" thick. This purchase has left a lasting impression on me. I'm going to buy a bunch of these with different tooth counts. People, buy with confidence. ***As seen in the video, cutting 1/2" steel with ease. **
br>***Update November 2019br>I am still using the same blade! It astounds me! I've probably cut 1000 pieces of material, ranging from 1/2" steel plate to thin-walled square tubing. These blades should be purchased.

Isn't the splice where it should be? Excellent work!! For the past 15 years, I've specialized in custom metalwork
5/5

I bought bandsaw blades from Harbor Freight back in 2005 when I first started out. Even though the teeth were still very sharp, it seemed as if they were always breaking at this location. I decided to upgrade and paid twice as much for blades from Grainger, which broke after only a few uses here. I made the decision to return to Harbor Freight in order to save money. I've bought hundreds of bandsaw blades from Harbor Freight over the course of my 15-year career. The spice was their downfall, which I assumed was typical. br>br>What an amazing bandsaw blade! I've only done about a half-dozen cuts so far, but because there's no visible splice, I expect these to last a long time. I ask again, "Where is the splice?" I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find one.

Quiet and smooth
5/5

These blades are extremely quiet and have a very smooth cutting action. They're installed on a Grizzly G9742 that I own. Metal Cutting Bandsaw, 5" x 6" 1/2 HP, with Swivel Head In addition, I installed a coolant system. This blade outperforms the stock blade by a wide margin. br>br>Excellent value for money blade!

- UPDATE- br>After a few weeks, it appears that the blade may not be as long-lasting as I had hoped. However, I won't be removing any stars just yet because I just finished cutting a large beam that exceeded my saw's capacity. It could be as a result of this. I'll replace it soon and continue to cut. Because of the clean cut, I'm still giving it 5 stars.

It lasts hundreds of cuts when used properly, and I've been using it on my HF saw because the original blade was worn out
5/5

I bought it because of the good reviews, and now I'd like to add my own. br>I cut a lot of steel, ranging in thickness from 1/8 to 1/4 inch. 2x2 square tubing with a 1/4" wall, to 1/4 flat bars Before I changed the blade, I had made hundreds of cuts. In fact, the blade I removed was still cutting; I just noticed it was taking a little longer, so I figured it had more than paid for itself and it was time to retire. br>Part of the reason I'm getting so many cuts is that I use cutting fluid on all of my cuts; cutting dry will not last as long.

For the money, these are excellent blades
5/5

I've read through a few of them. They easily cut through mild steel plate up to 1/4" thick and mild steel rod up to 1" in diameter. I cut a lot of 304 and 316 stainless steel with these, and they last a lot longer than I expected. These are what I use to cut thinner metal for TIG welding. To get a nice, no-gap fitup, I only have to do minor cleanup. There are more expensive blades that last longer when cutting stainless steel, but these are less expensive in the long run and do not cut any slower at this price.

The best blade available on Amazon
5/5

Over the years, I've used several different name brand blades on my horizontal bandsaw, and none of them have come close to this blade. This blade still cuts steel like butter after days of cutting 304 stainless tubing. You will not find a better blade in this price range, and spending any more would be a waste. Buy this blade and you will not be disappointed.

It was a waste of money
3/5

I usually change blades twice or three times a year, but this one appears to have only lasted a few cuts. br>I'm cutting square tubing, and after a few cuts, it's become so dull that cutting one tube takes several minutes. br>I'll never buy another product from this company.

quality
5/5

I'm not familiar with these blades. Because I've never used a metal-cutting band saw before, I can't make any comparisons. Despite this, they appear to cut easily and have fared well when it comes to cutting square tubing. I've tried them with some cutting oil, but I'm not convinced it's necessary. There is no sign of overheating, and the chips easily pass through the blade. With moderate usage, I have yet to need to replace a blade.
