Selected User Reviews For DEWALT Portable Band Saw Blade, 32-7/8-Inch, .020-Inch, 14/18 TPI, 3-Pack (DW3986C)
I got these when I bought a small portable bandsaw, the cheap blade that came with it made around 60 cuts before I realized it was dull, I put one of these on and got 5 cuts before the blade broke at the weld, I'm only cutting light weight angle iron, I put the second one on and after 7 cuts I looked at the blade and it was cracking at the weld, I won't be buying these again.
perform the blades with a 32 tpi. I needed to shorten 24 wheel studs, so I bought this 14/18 tpi set as well as a pack of 32 tpi blades (which are terrible). br>The 32 tpi blades (all three) became dull in less than 10 seconds, while the 14/18 tpi blade (the only one used so far) cut all the studs. My bandsaw is still running. br>br>I would strongly recommend this set to anyone who needs a 32 7/8 inch set!.
Replacement blades are a great deal. They work great, so don't waste your money on the knock-offs. You will be dissatisfied if you opt for offs. br>br>You must know the size you require; DeWalt offers two models, one battery-powered and the other AC-powered, each with different dimensions. Read the descriptions and figure out how big your unit is. Many customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the size, and it is the purchaser's fault for purchasing the incorrect size.
This one appears to be superior to the ones that came with my Ryobi. The ryobi came with two blades that quickly wore out; I've only used it to cut a couple of things so far, but they appear to be holding up well.
On my DeWalt 5" portable bandsaw, it cuts beautifully! Cutting 1/2" alluminum, HSS, and carbon steel is something I do on a regular basis. br>br>I suggest using a Swag stand and an Incra miter gauge.
high-quality.
This was exactly what I needed.
