My bandsaw is a vintage Sears model with 12 inch wheels that works perfectly. It should work for you as well if yours has 12 inch wheels.

I chose this bandsaw because of the Bosch brand and my previous experience with Bosch tools and consumables such as drill bits. br>br>I was taken aback when the first cut I attempted failed miserably. I remembered that some people had complained about dull blades right out of the box, so I assumed it was the same issue. I ordered a replacement because I was still confident in the brand. Regrettably, the substitute was not much better. This leads me to believe that either there is a serious quality control issue, or that many of the blades are dull when they leave the factory. I don't want to waste any more time dealing with a blade that isn't going to work after dealing with two dull blades. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this outcome.
Without a solution, this horrible weld causes the blade to wobble wildly. After cutting about 20 linear feet of walnut (shortly after putting it on and setting it up), the teeth became dull. Slowing down my feed rate causes the wood to chew and hack at itself, resulting in burning and poor cut lines. I won't be purchasing anything else in the future. This blade has left me extremely disappointed. Put your cash to better use. It's basically a squander of ten dollars.
I needed a replacement blade for my vintage Craftsman bandsaw after one broke. Local hardware stores no longer stock a wide range of sizes, if any at all, and Amazon quickly delivered what I needed for a project at a reasonable price. Company with a well-known brand. I was able to re-use the blade after changing it. The machine has been fine-tuned, and it now hums even louder than before.
Although it has a low cost, its feed rate is so slow that it is not suitable for soft woods such as white pine. I used to buy Craftman blades from Sears and get great quality cuts in soft and hard wood, but since all of the Sears stores in my area have closed and Woodcraft is so expensive, I figured I'd give Bosch a shot. Maybe this blade was made on a Monday or Friday. Maybe I should buy another one before making a decision, but I think I'll go with a different brand.
Making smoke signals with this blade is a breeze. I initially mistook the blade for being on backwards, but it's just super dull right out of the box. I tried to cut through some dry pine with a saw, but it wouldn't even cut through it without leaving a lot of burn marks. This bandsaw blade is a complete waste of time and money.
For the lathe, I attempted to cut some bowl blanks. The stock was simply too thick for this blade to cut. I ordered a three-toe blade, which sliced through everything I threw at it. (from the same manufacturer).
I bought this blade because of the brand name and because it was less expensive than the Olsen blades I was using, as did other reviewers. The blade installation went smoothly, and when I started the saw, I noticed that it was much quieter and smoother than the Olson, but the new blade was duller right out of the box than the Olson blade I was replacing. I tried a few different types of wood and got the same results every time. I deemed the blade to be unsafe, so I tossed it in the trash and replaced it with my old Olson. I was surprised to find a Bosch blade that was so dull right out of the package. Maybe I was given a lemon.
I bought it two years ago and have been keeping it on the wall as a backup. I tried it out today and it CUTS HORRIBLE! I tried to resaw some 2" walnut, but it wouldn't hold a straight line no matter how slowly I fed the material, and it smelled like it was burning despite the fact that there were no burn marks visible. What a waste of money, I'd never buy it again.
