Questions & Answers
Due to the fact that it hooks onto itself, it is called a dual lock. A dual lock surface snaps tightly to another dual lock surface, unlike velcro, which has a hooked side and a matted side.
It's kind of true. In addition to the one I use on my guitar pedal board, I have gotten a few second-hand ones A set of hand pedals with standard fuzzy velcro. It sticks and stays, but it isn't nearly as strong as before. Normal velcro will not stick to the plastic surface at all only the fuzzy surface will stick.
The product is not designed to be removed. If you want to get it off your wall, you will have to chisel it off. This product has an extremely strong permanent adhesive, though its best performance occurs on smooth, nonporous surfaces. A porous surface may allow fluid to pass through.
In the adhesive part, there is a white stripe, and on the hook, there is a black stripe.

This kind of velcro finds a way to mate with itself instead of becoming two separate velcro pieces. I've used other velcro that you have to really struggle to remove the backing film from and the adhesive can end up being damaged. This velcro comes off with no problems at all. As well as being strong and sticky, the adhesive is nice. I have things mounted under the roof of my SXS for a couple of months and have hit more than 80 mph regularly without any issues. I can also pull the items down and pop them back up without a problem. It is really easy to mount a rechargeable light and a few other things, so this product fit my needs completely.
It would be interesting to compare this to the low profile clear tape Actually, the height profile isn't that bad, but I can see where a thinner one would be better as the pedals wouldn't be as high (we're talking about fractions of an inch here). I was still able to lift the whole boards using the one attached pedal, but it wasn't as strong as you thought. Increasing the product's reliability involves cleaning surfaces with alcohol prior to applying adhesive strips, being careful not to press on the strips too hard (it can weaken the DualLock hooks), and being aware of how much material will be needed to achieve the level of locking with which you want. My pedals and wah stay firmly in place with this - very solid. The Classic I needed approximately 16 feet of Dual Lock to cover it, so I had to buy two In any case, it would be worth it since I won't have to replace Velcro for quite some time, plus this stuff is quite durable. I'm glad I chose DualLock after doing my research, and I can see why so many people recommend it for pedal boards.
Both the light and the heavy jobs are possible with this extremely great product. Velcro is much more than just ordinary adhesive!.
I applied both sides of the canvas to a lightweight Although it did not really feel like the adhesive was binding to the material, when I applied it, it did feel like it was binding. It was hard at first, but I let it hang and pressed harder in small increments. At the moment some superglue appears to be necessary, but time will tell whether it will hold without it.
A little pricey, but holds a decent amount of My job is in a test lab, so I often use it for putting test fixtures on temporary basis.
A very robust tape, strongly recommended following the online 3M directions.
I might as well have purchased a different brand of double lock velcro than what I ended up buying. It was a pleasant experience to install with peel and stick tape, but the velcro is best for lite-duty.
The $( is the way to go if you want something stronger than Velcro. I love how well it works. I use an 8lb battery box with a battery charger that is out of whack The vehicle is a road vehicle that is robust.
