This is a yes. Taking advice from idiots is a big mistake. I'm an engineer. My experience with it is good. There are only two squares per edge about half an inch apart. If you want to use alcohol beforehand, make sure the surface is clean and the license plate is on a flat surface.
In short, yes. It's sort of like that. The tape comes in a roll with money adhesive on one side. It can still lock onto itself, but is not sticky. A nice bond is created between the adhesive side and the metal.
Both sides are made of hardened plastic and interlock with each other. On one side of Velcro are small hooks which are made of plastic loops. On the other side is material with 100's of tiny strands creating loops which are caught by the plastic hooks. These LOCKTIGHT strips are nearly impossible to break even if they hold 1/16 lb or 1/32 lb. When removing the adhesive back on items that were affixed with the adhesive back, I did not immediately know what I was doing. *br> This is, by far, as strong as anything you've used (this is the exact kind, there's a similar one made to hang small photos, these are not this). It can easily You can use this to attach battery packs, or whatever else you need, that won't wear out, won't be affected by weather changes, and won't be damaged by harsh conditions.
I would think it is too bulky to sew on to fabric unless it is heavy weight. But this stuff is really magic, I find all kinds of uses for it.

While I give this product a great review because it does everything it should, I was very disappointed to see that instead of being rolled like it appears in the picture, it was rolled with the Velcro out, resulting in a messed up peel and stick process. When I removed the peel-off piece, I was annoyed because it was all crooked with air gaps where dirt and dust could enter. As I rolled it up with the sticky stuff inside it I had to fix all the air gaps each time, and I bought it because I thought the packaging was rolled up like in the picture. I had to unroll then finish rolling it up as it shows in the picture. My opinion is that I'll use it anyway, and there will be a lot of dust on it since the way they had it rolled just left up all those holes in it. It wasn't even my first thought. I saw other people finding the same problem as well. As far as the product itself is concerned, I'm just not a fan of the seller or the packaging.
There is only one of the two strips that need to be fastened I would not return to this place.
Decide on your course of action. If whatever it is that you want to stick to this is important, make sure that it is worth sticking to. There's no way it's going to work. In my vehicles, I use it to mount GPS units and cell phone holders.
I am a fan of 3M This would be an excellent choice if it is reliable, long lasting, and does what it is intended There was also a Velcro-like strip on this strip. I use this Velcro a lot more than regular Velcro, keeps my windshield elevated in freezing winters and hellish summers It is like an endless summer, without any signs of pigmentation, cracking, or peeling. These are the same types of e-mails I get from my provider A Z pass box needed to be moved from one car to another in order to use it on toll roads in Virginia. There are four reasons why you should read this book Getting a half-foot roll on Amazon is a good price when you don't need a full one. But I didn't want to pay more than five or six dollars for a few half-foot rolls If I bought four feet, it would cost me about five or six dollars more than the inch strips. There is no doubt that this is a more expensive tape than your ordinary double sided tape, however it is a lot better for certain applications where you need a sticky tape Great stuff and, well worth the price on Amazon! It gives the feel of tape but also allows the users to mount or remove the mounted item temporarily at any time.
There was a piece of big roll that'd been cut off and put in a baggie it looked like a piece had been cut off and put in a bag. It's not a problem, but as an example can be seen in the image, the protective film is peeling off in numerous The adhesive had a chance to dry out, so some places had a good stick and others had little. Having used full boxes of the 3M dual lock I never had these issues. If you think you may have a problem, I recommend buying a full roll in the 3M box instead of the repackaged packaged.
You don't have to worry about it not working as long as you clean the surface and object you plan to place the dual lock on properly. Importantly, ensure that the material is firmly pressed into the worn areas and that it is adhering smoothly to the worn surfaces. If you follow these steps, anything you adhere to the wall will be held in place semi-permanently This is permanent. It is important to keep this in mind because you might damage whatever you have mounted before this material will fail. Using too much of the material and framing will cause the frame to flex and break if you decide to take it down (use the right amount, do not overdo If you decide to remove the strips in the future, you might need to remove an additional layer of paint from the wall, so take that for what it is. It is a great asset and a great way to display large frames, plaques, and even lamps. While the price of this product is hefty, I am convinced that it is worth it, and will be using it whenever future situations arise when its utility will be needed.
There is actually a lot of velcro in the world, so much so that it is stronger than glue. Be aware that if you attempt to remove something you have attached somewhere with it, it is likely that the tape itself will break before the velcro can hold on. To hang a cheap body-length mirror on a back door, I was trying to thread it through the hinges. It was a bit off and I tried pulling it off by tearing apart the velcro, but the tape came off straight away. Therefore, I am torn on whether this stuff is useful, because it seems to have been designed to be useful. Since it is quite expensive, after the sticky tape comes off where it is mounted, it is pretty much a waste of money. With it, I would never hang a picture because I would be afraid that it would tear the drywall off the wall before the Velcro loosened.
I speak from the perspective of a Veteran Driver who needs something to hold down a Front Facing Window Cam, Pikepass or Prepass for Scale houses, and generally something that when your windshield cracks you can easily remove and replace your adhesive strip. With this stuff, you only need to trim your strips to size once you stick them to the windshield and they lock into place. The new windshield strips are only cut to match the length on the device you're remounting if you need to replace your windshield. My opinion is that the stuff is far superior to typical Velcro strips.
