After using up my previous roll for over 20 years, I am now using up my new one. In that time, the tape had behaved exactly the same way as the day I had received Therefore, I would say "indefinite" for shelf life. I guess my current roll should last me until the paper is gone.

When we were doing field research, we covered connectors with this tape. When you have a knife, you can cut the tape and when you don't, you can snap it. It's good to hear that! As the tape vulcanizes well against itself, a permanent moisture-proof barrier is formed The rubber boot covers your connectors and prevents them from being damaged. Once the connection is removed, you can simply cut or tear it off with minimal effort, and you won't leave any permanent traces behind. There's a lot of good stuff here.
The vinyl electrical tape I used to use is much better than this type. In the case of vinyl tape, the adhesive begins to deteriorate after a few years, especially for the heat seal. When left in a hot or cold place for a long time, this tape bonds to itself and stays intact even when adverse temperatures exist. There's only one thing that I don't like about the tape its thickness. The material is harder to work with when it has the texture. There is a 3x difference in thickness between vinyl tape and this.
The last time I used electrical tape was twenty years ago. There is only one way to stick this stuff together. There are no sticky residues left behind. Like electrical tape, it won't become a sticky mess in the heat. A shield is created around the wires, protecting them from damage. The only use I have seen for it is for electrical wiring and wiring.
By slightly stretching the tape in the process of winding it around the splice, this tape will self-heal It forms a seamless jacket around the splice by vulcanizing it.
An electrical tape of the highest quality. Even in cold weather, this product is very flexible. Tape that is very thick and will prevent wires or terminals from tearing through.
My favorite tape, I use it to protect all connections out in the weather and wherever there is some condensation. Wrapping the tape stretches the tape about half its width, and it bonds to itself as it does. I think it is the best there is, although it is quite expensive.
Easy to apply.
The perfect translation.
