In the workshop where I work, we do a lot of electrical work and I've been looking for a great source of It seems that this material doesn't stick well, so I'll have to keep looking. The product may work better in a less cluttered environment, but in a busy shop, it just doesn't work well. It has happened to me that I have wrapped portions of a loom to have the ends lift when I return after finishing it.
Despite its shortcomings, it's not too bad. Although it is a lot better than the super cheap stuff, it is not of the same quality as 3M. In a case like this I would not wrap around a short section at the end, but in a midsection of a wiring harness it would be very useful. has a good amount of strength, and it has a decent amount of flexibility as well. Yet, as with any other adhesive tape, it's the sticky part that matters most. An 8 would be an appropriate rating for the adhesive in this case.
On my black iPad, I used the tape to block out the front facing camera as well. The cheap cables we use for phone charging also come with this tape. We also use it to tape the ends of these cables because they make them cheap. I was able to fix the problem with this tape! It is of high quality, very safe, and very I love my iPad camera while sleeping at night, but my NSA agent misses watching me sleep every night. Through the tapped microphone I can still be heard by him, so it's not a total loss. I mean this in The product is solid, the shipping is fast, and it is reasonably priced You don't have to ask for anything more, do you?.
The use of colors is very important when working in the electrical industry. The tape I keep around consists of a minimum of five of each white tape, red tape, green tape, yellow tape, and at least ten black tape. The only black tape I use is quality, 3M black tape that stretches and adheres well so it does not peel or come off. It's quite pricey, but I can't live without it. Having worked in electrical for a number of years has taught me this. Cambridge is the brand I use for these colored tapes. I do not use them often, but always keep them in my truck just in case. As much as I would love to purchase tape at 3 in the morning, I can't do it. I need a roll of 99 for colors I hardly use but need to have. While it's not as good as 3M, it fits my budget and lasts a year when I buy 5 rolls of it. The black is probably used 10 times as much as the white. In contrast to 3M tape, this tape is slimmer and does not have as much elasticity. It adheres well enough to get the job completed. Interestingly enough, as mentioned by other reviewers, this tape really sticks to itself. Multiple layers will allow you to use more than what you need to.
It is of excellent quality for its price. It displays good adhesion, tensile strength, stretch, and flexibility. And the best part is that it does not appear to leave behind any black adhesive residue after use. While I haven't had the chance to return years later, I suspect the adhesive is clear instead of the disgusting black that gets all over your fingers when you work with an old wiring bundle that has been exposed to It is recommended.
This review is simple for a simple product. It is thick and adheres well. It was a great deal. Delivery was timely. There were no issues with the vendor. I received all the tape in good condition and it was perfectly packaged. I never had a problem with the tape doubling over on itself, so this was a big.
While the more expensive ones stretches better, seals better, and probably protects better, they leave a black stain when they are removed. My home is in the desert, so it gets pretty hot there. My purpose was to use them for automotive purposes. Since I had to temporarily tape some wires, these worked well. They haven't been in my possession for a full year so I have yet to see how they perform. So far, they appear to be perfect for the price.
As far as reviews are concerned, you really do get what you pay for, so I'm not sure why I keep expecting This had melted off the surface I was wearing it on within a day, and this was in an indoor, moderately air-conditioned area of maybe 75-80 degrees. The temperature is 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The system left a lot of residue after the cleaning that had to be chemically cleaned off, you couldn't just wipe it off like you used to do, and it was just all around disgusting. In the past, I have given one of these to a friend whose supply was running low when I first bought them. I gave it back, and they told me it wasn't right for them too, so they wrapped a handle with it instead.
