The tape I think would be very useful for holding your rugs in place because it is easy to remove and replace The product should be applied to rugs and carpets. That's a good idea in fact. I appreciate it!
There's no mess when you use this tape! As long as it does not stay stuck to the underside of the rug, you will need to replace the rug each time. On one rug, it stayed adhered to the rug itself and I was able to remove it after mops. A rug on another floor had to be removed after it stuck to the floor. Now that the rugs are in place, I vacuum and mop around them after vacuuming. Although I appreciate this tape, the adhesive on it is very strong, and I have experienced that removing it from rugs can tear the backing away. Materials such as vinyl and cardboard can be used as backings. You should remove slowly and be on the lookout for that.
If I use a good sharp pair of ordinary scissors, I am able to make a clean, quick cut all the way through at once with no problems. The blades have been left with little to no residue. This is a really good
Without a doubt! Our high traffic family room has an 8 x 10 rug I used it on, and I vacuum at least a few times

It was pretty disappointing with my floor, but I was glad I tried it first in one place.
My husband and I recently moved into a new house with hardwood floors, and our rugs caused us issues. I have used this tape and it has survived the vigor and aggression of my 90 pound Belgian Malinois. The team is very.
I'm in love with this tape! About half of my roll of paper is still left after I purchased it in December 2016. As I have tile floors, I use the tape to secure my area rug to the floor A 5' by 7' rug with a runner that measures 5' by 7'. The size of the mat is 22 x 59 inches It is 22 by 31 inches). The water heater in my townhouse caused the roof to flood from the upstairs. So, recently, this rug tape went through the REAL rug tape test. As I walked into my home, there was about 1/2 inch of water on my tile floor and area rugs. It was sticking to the carpets long after the repair guys had been in and out for 3 weeks stepping on the tape, getting drywall all over it, etc. Once they were done everything was still sticky enough to hold the carpet down. As I cleaned up the area, the old tape came up by pulling steadily (I wasn't sure if there would be a sticky residue due to how wet the area became and how it was stepped on and mopped) but there was none at all. It is highly recommended for tile floors because even after that mess - there are no signs of damage The sticky substance was still there!.
My house has high traffic areas, so I keep several runners there, and, obviously, they move all around the house. Having read some of the reviews, I decided to give this product a try, and I am now glad As with most tapes, handling it can be a little tricky at first. The backing comes off easily, if you pull slowly, and the strips have to be handled carefully to prevent them from sticking to themselves. Now my rugs stay straight and in place, as I like them to. If you wish to move the rug, you can easily pull it loose. As far as I can tell, there is no residue left on the carpet. In addition to a trial, there was also a 5-day trial An experience as good as a star.
A large area rug on a hardwood floor curled at its edge, so I decided to purchase this to hold it down. In essence, it is incredibly wide, double-layered, and thick I'm going to tape the white tape to the stick. You're going to need a sticky note. I agree, but. In the morning, I lifted the weights off the shelf and left the room after setting up the weights over night. I returned about 4 hours later to find the carpet curled up again. As I put on my weights again, I am feeling stronger. Unfortunately, I do not have high hopes for this. Trying to clean the tape and residue off the floor without goinguge the floor is the next step. I don't care. It's never a problem for me to update my reviews when new information comes to light. Keeping the tape is due to the possibility of it working with another application in the future. There are a few things to know, though, like it doesn't work very well as carpet.
I have never been happier with a product than this tape. The carpet in my living room and dining room has two large area rugs. They were about to be thrown out (they were sliding all over the place), but after I tried this tape they were stuck in place. The product I'm using is great.
You'd better watch out for the negative reviews, because they are completely Honestly, this was an utter nightmare to use on a large 10 x 18 foot rug on ceramic tile. (I feel bad for anyone who used #1. )
A lot of effort was needed to cut the tape. My best scissors were covered in adhesive goo and I lost two of them. There was a need to clean them afterwards.
#2. It also took a great deal of effort to remove the backing films. The difficult part is starting it, and then you have to take great care to pull it off as even as possible or else it tears, and you have to start over. . . #3. There is some stickiness to the rug, but if you need to adjust the rug's positioning, you have a different The tape is stuck to the floor more than the rug, so it will be even more difficult to remove. I'm so angry! This has been an awful experience all around. These may be better suited for the tiniest That leads me to wonder whether all those glowing reviews are legitimate.
Recent review This was on the bottom of a (cheaper) area rug as an item of clothing for a couple of days I have been here for three In order to move the rug, I pulled off the tape. However, the tape completely ripped the bottom of the rug and the thread from the top of the rug passed through the bottom (in two There are running lines in the rug. Don't use this stuff where you're going to be exposed to too much sunlight. I do not agree with the following Packaging could be better, but this is already strong. Area rugs are layered on top of carpet & I use these My actual carpet was glued down with glue that was significantly stronger than what was used to secure my linoleum and tape It becomes very difficult to pull up the tape, and the whole carpet comes There's just one problem after opening, the sides of the tape are exposed and become less sticky, therefore less Saran and parchment paper were used to seal the package to store, but it did not work. I just don't know what to do. Additionally, it can be quite challenging to remove the paper backing from the tape when using it. Pieces of it fall off in little bits, not in one go Then you will have to take the time to rip off the rest before you can use the piece you want. I think it's still good.
