During the winter, we used it on the outside of our hot tub cover as it was starting to tear at the seam. During the winter, we in Massachusetts experienced a harsh winter. I have had no problems with the tape Earlier this spring, we replaced the cover so it worked as we wanted it to. I can't believe how TOUGH this stuff is! It was the first thing I bought on Amazon so I could wrap a punching bag for the first time that was falling apart. It worked like a charm, and it continues to work even after I've beaten Maybe you can put it through more rigorous and continuous testing, but I doubt it. Besides repairing water hoses and water pipes, it even held together a rip in an old leather couch when my dog thought it was a good time to dig a hole to China. There is nothing better than this stuff. Having received another roll of tape, I decided it would be a good idea to help spread the word to those who are looking for a good tape for any situation. We had a split in the feed tube inside of our dishwasher last week, so our dishes weren't being cleaned. The repair should last a while because I ordered a new part, but I thought this tape might work as a temporary fix. The bag is holding up well after a week of washing.
