Dear All, Some specialty paints formulated for plastic paints tend to adhere with a weak bond, which can be easily scratched or flacked off when the tape stretches or folds. The paint is more likely to adhere to the tape when it is left on a flat surface without being disturbed. My experience with this tape is not better than their normal duct tape, which I use a couple rolls of per week. As a result, if you do not need true waterproof tape, this is more than one star but you may as well purchase their less expensive duct tape since that is actually really good tape for a much lower price. It appears the only waterproof tape I have found is 3M's #393 duct tape, which I find to be the best. Since I use a bunch of that as well and it is over fifty dollars per roll, I keep hoping I'll find another one for less money.
It was advertised that this roll would withstand extreme temperature fluctuations. Our roll, however, remained attached to itself, and we did not even be able to pull it apart. Maybe we just got For this purchase, we would like it to be reimbursed.
Gorilla tape works great for me. I've used regular Gorilla tape and I'm very pleased with it. You can't remove the tape from itself when you want to use it, because it's very hard to peel back on itself. With the All Weather tape you are much more likely to be able to peel it from the roll, but it has a bit of extra adhesive strength.
Whenever I use Gorilla tape, I'm delighted. I am so amazed at how strong it is. I've kept rolls in the house for any other situations that would call for you to use something this strong. Ever since I used it on leaky windows, I have some extra rolls for other uses. In windows where the glass was damaged and water was entering my home, I used this to seal the windows for eight months so they wouldn't leak. It kept the water from coming in for eight months. It didn't matter to me that the sticky gum would damage the windows since I was replacing them anyway. It had been so long since the tape had been in the Florida sunshine that the aluminum had brownened and that the tape had left residues. Although this was not a typical application, I still wanted to mention it because it performed so The plastic sheeting had not come off during a hurricane when I used it to tape up plastic sheeting before it. On the other hand, I've learned it's not so great on cardboard This tape rocks, no doubt about it.
The wet/cold frost made this tape peel off from the dog's bandaged boot, so I used it to secure a wire to the house, but when I wrapped it around a dog's foot to keep a baggy on her, the tape came off! I was amazed at how quickly this worked! Regardless, I don't know how I can use this if it will completely come off of whatever it was taped to whatever cold or wet will do.
Our expectations were high because of its "outdoor waterproof" capabilities, but it has not lived up to expectations. As a result, we purchased a 40' long solar cover for our pool, but our 50' pool was covered with a 40' cover. The side of the part could be cut off 10 feet, so we wanted to attach it at the end of the side. Buying the more expensive Flex Seal/Flex Tape brand next year will be better because I only used the Gorilla All Weather tape for a few days before it started falling apart.
To watch movies on my lanai or at the drive-in theater, I used the tape to attach the viewing screen to the stucco wall. As well as keeping my storage bins together, I used it for this purpose. In addition to that, I have used it for a number of other things. The device works great at all temperatures in southwest Florida, even when it's hot and humid!.
Does it take a lot of effort to remove it? There are holes in my tent that won't stick, and the ones that do stick only stick for three minutes. The stuff doesn't work. I used it on a tent that has a number of holes and scratches.
