I bought the Sika product to seal expansion joints in concrete driveways, especially at the transition from driveway to garage floor where dirt and grime had accumulated. The sealant flows out of the cartridge easily, self-levels in 30 minutes or so, and is very strong. Here are a few things you might want to prepare. The process of touching up can be challenging. There is no guarantee that the surface will be level. Does not take more than 4 hours It takes 5 days for the full cure to take place.

This is a great look. Inexpensive for small gaps, but costly for large gaps. A smooth finish results from an easy flow of the material. The cost of filling wide, deep joints is very high, so seal them with closed cell backer rod to minimize sealant usage. Block any joints where material may escape so that it does not flow It takes a while for the joint to firm up, so you will want to cover it overnight to prevent particles such as dirt, rocks, leaves, nuts, children, and pets from being incorporated.

Leveling by self according to the description. I have had this stuff in my driveway for two summers and one winter, and it has maintained a seal much better than any caulk could. It is easy to clean, and it looks really good. The water was not rippled or waved. Cleaning it with a broom and hose is no problem for me. Make sure you follow the directions and use the right size backer rod for the crack you've got. It is important not to forget to dam the ends of the crack so this stuff doesn't run out. That fluid is what makes it so.

The following review has been submitted There are no words to describe how great this product is. As it comes in various colors, be sure to pay attention to the color. You can use backrod in the large cracks in your driveway where the wood is and then go over it with the backrod. It is typically far less expensive. This method also works well for smaller cracks. The products are very easy to work with, but I wouldn't want to put them on my skin because they are so hard to remove.

I ordered this product twice from Home Depot and Amazon

The first time I got it from Home Depot and the second time I got it I found it more difficult to squeeze the calk out of the gun as I approached the lower third of the calking tubes. As a result, it was no longer possible. As a result, another tube had to be ordered. Amazon was my first choice because it delivered to my house. The cost was higher, but the convenience was greater. In the end, the result was the same! In the past, I have used masonry products from Sika and found them to be excellent. These last two times have been different.
