It seems that the brass joint on my tub pipe is dropping. Can I paint this directly onto it?

To use pipe dope, you need to take apart the joint, dry it, apply it to the threads then reassemble it

Is the full set expected to dry in a half hour or so?

During normal use, it is very fast to dry, so if it gets on your hands, it will dry immediately. There have never been any instances in which I had to wait for it to cure, no matter the pressure level, whether gas, air, As far as thread sealants go, this is the best I've ever tried

Will I be able to use this when replacing the blower fan wheel on a portable air conditioner?

If you want to connect some water pipes but don't want to dismantle them, or if your refrigeration system has piping and fittings, or both, this stuff works great. If the grease were intended for use in fans, I would not utilize it.

Does this help me fix a 280 psi cold gas cooler?

If you get things lined up properly, this stuff does not leak once it is set up *br>once it sets up, it is a real pain to take it back out again, and it is not best to mess with it, rather than let it do its work.

Other stuff fails when it does not work. The items were shipped and somehow cracked from being tossed around during shipping. In the past couple of days, I have not heard back from my email. As it turned out, they contacted me the same evening, on a Friday. It took them a couple of minutes to ask a few reasonable questions and the new bottle was shipped the next day. I am satisfied with that. The product is good and the service is outstanding.

Four split ac pipes, plus extensions and other seals on the system were done with this, and I was able to vacuum the whole thing, so I have a fully operating AC system now. Very pleased with the results of this stuff!.

It has been around awhile

I started in the HVAC industry in 1981 and have been using it ever since. The reason is that I have yet to find anything that works better than it it is just about anything you need to add a leak sealant to threads.

It Rocks to Have a Leak Lock! It's no match for leak lock! Teflon tape and paste cannot stand up to leak lock! The first time you use it, you won't use any other sealant again!

It is a great product. At the flared connections on a mini split system, there were several leaks. The threads on the flared fittings were treated with this only on their exterior threads and the leaks were permanently stopped.
