Questions & Answers

The 10 oz. bottle does. What kind of caulking gun is required to use silicone? When I ordered earlier, metal tubes had a pull tap opening. Was this what was shipped to me before?

It will work just fine with the same caulk gun. Even after removing the pull tab, you still need to close the cover.

Have you tried mixing a color pigment into the glue before applying it? Can this have an impact on the outcome?

As I am not familiar with the 3M Support Line, I suggest you call them and ask. If possible, I am sure they will guide you on which color Mixing some color in is not a good idea since you do not know how the glue will react. You can reach 3M by calling them, and they will be pleased to help you.

A small, slow leak developed in my scuba BC after my cat punctured it with a few pinhole sized holes. Is it possible to patch it with this?

The answer is yes. You should wait five days for the cure to take effect. Take the fast cure only if you need it.

Does it have the ability to be painted?

There is a possibility to paint it

Applied to the right applications, this stuff is great! The stuff I like is great, but you have to understand its properties and when it should be used and when not
5/5

During the cure period, a 1/4" bead skins over in about 24 hours and takes up to 7 days. Because of this, it can only be used when the item won't be disturbed when it's being cured. By using a small container to keep the rubber moist, I can keep a tube around all summer on the boat to keep small jobs from hardening. (2. There is a Fast Cure 5200. ) As soon as it is cured, it becomes very strong. The company claims that the application is for permanent use. Objects can be removed by cutting them, but the residue left behind is almost impossible to get rid of. Since it is highly messy and is not as viscous as other sealants, care must be taken to apply it properly. If it drips in an area you don't want it, don't let If you stop dispensing, put the caulking gun on a piece of cardboard and let it rest.

Included are the pictures, but not the tip! The second one I purchased I had to return, so I returned the other as well
3/5

They did not each come with a tip like those in the image. These were cracked open and sold individually, and it makes me think they are cracking open a case of these. I just wanted to let you know that these are available for sale at one of the big box hardware stores under "ship to store". This tip is actually included in the price. As you can see in this picture, the tip comes with the product when purchased elsewhere (for a few dollars more).

This is the most practical pool saver! Is there an aboveground pool in your home? Would it also be possible to line a pool? THIS IS A GREAT ITEM! Get started now! It is obvious that my brother's pool bottom has a large tear
5/5

A spider web spread in all directions. It was like spreading frosting like a 3 year old on a cake when I put a blob of it on a disposable trowel. (the pool was 9 years old at the time, this was it's last stand. )
4 It isn't too late to do so The following is an example of a Let's drop! You can cure this stuff under water! This is the only thing for our boats, because that is what it was designed for, but what about the pool? We saved tens of thousands of dollars with it! Please be aware of the following As soon as it is opened, it hardens, so do not plan on using it more than two times. The nozzle was missing when I used it for the first time. After doing that a second time, I speared the hardened end and got the hang of it. When it came to the third attempt? I had to pierce the tube and scoop out the contents. The investment is worth it even if you only get a single use out of.

A great sealer that never needs to be replaced
5/5

The best permanent sealant out there! This is what I use on my boat to permanently attach accessories, even below the water line. However, I cannot stress this enough - I use this every day to attach accessories. A permanent seal is created with this sealer! It is very important never to remove anything attached to or sealed with 3M 5200 as that could I strongly recommend that you use 3M 4200 sealer if you are going to remove whatever you are attaching or sealing!.

Is this similar to Universal Adhesive? I think it is
5/5

Now that I have spent 80 years in quest of the Universal Adhesive (and Universal Solvent), I am getting close to my 80th birthday. Compared to other adhesives I have found, this one comes as close to being a universal adhesive as I have come across. It might seem pricey, but it gets the job done. In what field do you work? It doesn't matter what it is. After repairing a hoe that had its metal hoe part fall out of its wooden handle, I repaired the wooden handle too. Perfect. I would highly recommend it. We can seal, repair, and fix anything you need. One of my pieces of canvas was ripped by a cow My solution worked like a charm -- I just stitched a patch of canvas along the three foot tear. The solution I used to seal a leaky PVC pipe under water Furthermore, I could care less about whether it is white or clear. Having to learn that it takes three weeks for something to be done took me quite awhile It takes 4 days for the setup. I like it.

Buying this product is the best decision you will ever make
5/5

Since then, I have used this product to patch my boat and fix my roof. There is no doubt that this is one of the best products In comparison to other products, this one stands out for its UV resistance. When was the last time you saw a caulking job with standard caulk that had been exposed to the sun for a few years? There is no longer any seal between the caulk and the wall. It lasts for a long time, so if you're on the fence, give it a go. Having the work done once is worth it rather than redoing it every couple of This stuff I have been using for years, and I will always buy it for my caulking needs (even if it is overkill, I want it to be done.

The leaks were fixed all at once
5/5

This is amazing. I hadn't been out on my aluminum fishing boat for a long time. A test had drips all over the place. This stuff was used along all of the seams and edges along with painters tape to maintain its beauty and neatness. Having enough to accomplish all the tasks was easy, since I had the whole boat in front of me. We had to wait seven days for it to stop being tacky, but once it was in the water it was fine. There are no leaks at all. I love this stuff and has a great look. Using painters tape makes it easier to do the job since it is messy. With a gloved finger, peel back the tape after sealing it in, and you will have a beautiful result. There is no limit to how long you can work with it.

Seal something permanently onto your boat if you need it to stand the test of time
5/5

You need to have these on hand if you would like to permanently seal something to your boat! If you are planning to remove anything in the future, do not use it.
