My honest confession is that I am not a wiz at home repairs. Having said that, as a homeowner, I have no qualms with working in my toolbox in fact, I have a Nikita drill! However, I lost my mind trying to make sense of this stuff, and, alas, the process eventually The mistake I made (and I admit it was my mistake however, my goal in writing this is to prevent others from making the same mistake, and I think their product description can be made better) was that I bought this tape to help me silicone the bathtub's edge. Its thickness and stiffness meant it wasn't going to be easy to work with and I quickly realized it was not going to be suitable for that job. Because it was here, and I wanted to finish this, I used the border tape to finish the project. Cut to In the first half of the sentence After about an hour, I tried to remove the tape, but when I tried, I found that it had taken all of the silicone with it that I so carefully applied to the edge between the tub and the tile. Well, my bad, but just for the record, THIS IS NOT CAULKING TAPE in the sense that you might want to implement it to help you caulk. (I guess this is supposed to replace caulk? I have no idea how it works. The reason I gave them two stars is that it is possible that it may work as an alternative to caulking, however, for my purposes it was a waste of money.

There is nothing better than this caulk tape. This is what we used for the In the tub area, we have tile walls. There was just something wrong with the caulk. The area was washed well and the mat was placed exactly where it needed to be and it sealed the seam The product is excellent.

The first time I heard this tape, I loved it. The tub was covered with a nice, thick carpet that covered areas which looked unsightly around the inside perimeter. Caulk remained intact for a short period of time before it began to pull away from the surface, leaving gaps that allowed water to collect and hold, thus defeating the purpose of using caulk in the first place. A seal is to be imposed!.

I found that the adhesion was very weak. If you use a hairdryer it definitely helps, but it is still not quite as strong as I'd like. I need to see if it is waterproof and how long it may last. If you use this tape in the tub, remember to cut it in only straight lines. The tub ring cannot be bent around The result is an excessive number of seams in the final product. In general, this is a good product, but it's only a temporary solution. It would be helpful if your tub was properly caulked. To conceal my messy caulking job at the tub's flooring junction, I used this piece of duct tape.

It is soon going to be replaced. When I peeled the tape from the back of this strip, I was surprised at just how non-sticky it was. If you press your fingers against it, it will feel warm. There is a bit of a sticky situation here. The feeling it gives me is an adhesive feeling, but I expected it to be more flexible. There is no such thing. In order to ensure that everything was dry and clean after I removed the old tape, I blew it off with a hair dryer. Afterward, you put this on, but it just doesn't want to stick all that well in some places. As I've repeatedly tried to turn it on, it does reasonably well in certain areas but not as good as it could be.
