Perhaps, but they're small and a large number would be required. It would be far better to purchase a roll of automotive sound deadening material with an aluminum backing that is specifically designed for these applications.
All of the raw materials and manufacturing takes place in the United States.

After deciding to remove old sheetrock and replace it with rockwool and green glue, we thought it would be a good idea to install these to help with noise dampening. Even before the new insulation and sheetrock were installed, we could already tell a difference. It makes a huge difference in noise transfer.
Work completed according to the specifications. I'm not sure if they help with noise reduction; I don't hear anything, so they probably do, but I over-think things. I suppose it works, but I'm not sure if it truly blocks sound because the door is the weak link.
The putty-like material is simple to work with. After installing sound board drywall and green glue, it worked perfectly to sound insulate my utility boxes.
