To make the installation process easier, there is no need for a gasket.

The sleeve's rolled-out lip makes cable entry a breeze.

The brackets and the sleeve work together to keep the installation from slipping.

Questions & Answers

Is the dimension the pipe section's outer diameter? For a 2" model, I'm not sure what size hole to drill. ?

The 2" fire barrier sleeve has a minimum hole size of 2 3/8".

Is it possible to get this off a cuff once it has hardened?

The putty does not harden when exposed to air. When installing new runs, if you don't remove all of the putty, it leaves a big mess on the cables that's difficult to clean.

The product was easy to install, easy to assemble, and the installation was as smooth and simple as you could hope for. There is plenty of fire-caulk for me to use (not shown in the photo because I took it before we caulked and labeled it). Overall, I'm looking forward to using this in the near future because the labels are included. The purchase was a great success.

It's well-built and simple to operate. Used in a security system. I got into the house by breaking through the garage wall and into the attic. For the eight lines, 2 inch is a very large size.
