The product will glue leather to metal, but if it does not, what will - and if not, what else! ?

Metal to leather shouldn't be a problem, since it has never been tried.

Allow the glue to dry since it will not come off with your fingers when you touch it with (gloved) fingers. This can take a moment or two, depending on the temperature in the room. You need a thicker layer if you want to lay down a better foundation. On the can and in the instructions for use, I believe this was also stated.

How does the bonding process work? Do you really need to spray both materials you want to bond together? You can spray one of the materials alone, or can you spray them all?

on one side of the material, but a good spray should cover both sides to get the best results.

What is the best way to make soles less slippery with this product?

That is not something I would do. This mud is very sticky and you will ruin your shoes if you walk on it.

It works very well. When I used it to glue felt to cork, it worked perfectly. I found it easy to use, very sticky, and really nice spray. The setting took not long at all. I didn't have to wait very long for the finish to appear.
