A foam that is quick and effective is what makes foam Fast 74 (orange). It is not possible to separate two pieces of foam apart because they are more bonded than they are strong If you glue two pieces of foam together and then try to separate them, the foam will tear or rip before the 74 is applied to the joint. In order for foam fast to work best, follow these steps On both surfaces that are to be joined, paint an even and solid coat. (The glue comes out of the can quite cold. It saturates in the process of evaporation), and it leaves a AFTER THE GLUE HAS QUIT Bubbling, and the area is noticeable not to be cooler to the touch, carefully align the two surfaces that need to be joined WITHOUT TOUCHING THEM FASTELY, and then secure them with a firmly compressed joint. As a result, Foam Fast 74 adheres strongly and immediately reaches its full strength. There is no way to reposition it. It may be necessary to use a razor knife to cut the targets apart just above the application site if you fail to join them correctly. On the other hand, Foam Fast 74 is not optimal for multi-media applications such as foam, fabric, or foam-plastic combination. Using 74 to adhere the foam insert to (any) existing foam and then Super 77 to adhere the fabric to the foam may be your best choice. However, that particular lens is a 74 clear rather than an orange lens. It printed it for paint but also does spray orange, which is particularly useful when printing on foam. This allows you to see where the paint has been applied. Cost is a little higher if you choose the clear version.

There aren't any sealants in this. Specifically formulated to work with foam, this spray glue sprays on evenly. The good news is, it is a very strong adhesive when applied properly.

I needed to attach a cloth covering to a polyurethane foam body casting. The product's function was perfect for me. is extremely yellow when it comes out of the machine If you spray some of the orange stuff on a part of your project that is not covered, it looks unpleasant. A dull orange color is also left behind when it dries. Practise spraying it at some cardboard first. There is a high position, a medium position, and a low position for the nozzle, but I found it difficult to get an even application at other settings besides high. Spray paint is similar to spray paint in that you must move the can quickly while spraying. In contrast to spray paint, adhesive does not rise in a fine, even mist. Instead, if you are doing it correctly, you'll end up with a thin layer of material that resembles cobwebs. Whenever you're working with fabric, when using adhesive, take care not to build up too much glue on one spot. Let me explain. Once you've coated both surfaces and allowed them to sit for a short period of time, they should adhere permanent, and perfectly. If you are recovering a headliner or attaching foam core to any surface, then Orange 74 would be a good choice.
We were very pleased with how well it worked adhering high density upholstery foam to itself, fabric, and In the past, I've used a less expensive spray, 3M Super 77, which is also very good, but this has a more robust spray pattern, so for more load-bearing applications I preferred it. A 1" medium density polyurethane foam attachment was used to attach metal to the foam. To keep things from moving around in transport and causing dents on the outside of our vans, we used a 3M foam adhesive to adhere the foam to the sheet metal panels. For greater ease of use, we lined the panels with the foam while attaching it with the adhesive. Once both surfaces are sprayed, allow them to become tacky for a few minutes before the paint sets up. Once the surfaces had been pressed together, they simply had to be held in place. The hold was unaffected by temperatures in the triple digits during the summer, but we just recently had temperatures in the single digits, and we haven't spotted any flaws in the hold recently.
This material stuck well to my foam mattress topper, allowing me to place a fabric layer on top. My spray turned out uneven because I was unable to get it to spray evenly. There was no pattern to the flow it came out in concentrated clumps. It might be best to use a different product if you require an even stream, or at the very least make your own with acetone-soaked q-tips The tips are ready to be used frequently to clean the nozzle. A queen-size mattress is barely large enough for at least one person to do both sides.
Sprays pretty widely and it is a bit of a mess (4 stars), but it completely bonded the two halves together and I believe that little bit of glued spot won't tear, it will be the other parts of foam that do. This is a semi bright orange color, but as long as it held, I was not as concerned. In order to get the most out of this great produce, I made sure that the nozzel was clean. It will also get a long way for the large can as well.
It's not clear from the DIY videos that this product is orange, like in the DIY videos that accompany it. My initial assumption was that the grade would be orange for some odd reason (like yellow is a bit sticky, orange is medium sticky, and red is super sticky), and not the I guess I'll just move on. In my case, it helped me rephrase A stick fell from the ceiling of my car, which caused the upholstery to collapse. Despite its good intentions, it was not well adhered. Where the water did soak, it had to cause the fabric to soak up the fluid. Additionally, the nozzle is not aimed that well and sometimes would shoot off to the side. There was quite a bit of damage to my passenger window. Hopefully some paint thinner or acetone will be able to remove it. My hands were at least rubbed off with Dawn dish soap and a plastic scrubber (although again I did not expect it to spray, squeezing out from the sides). Here's an update In the end, I was able to remove the clue from the window and the rubber weather stripping using 100% acetone (since I do my own acrylic nails and didn't have anything else). I scrubbed it for about 15 minutes and then put four cotton balls in to help. The following updates have been provided A third of a decade has gone by and the glue no longer holds. In addition to the upholstery, glue debris were also left on the floor. I don't like this at all. The product is not something I would ever use This glue falls apart, has a texture like sand, and gets into crevices, hair, and eyes just like a fine sand. The worst glue I have ever used.
I used this to redo my headliner exactly as it was supposed to be. Everything worked like a charm.
Works great, but it's a tad expensive for how much To glue batting to six sofa cushions, I had to use an entire can, and I only applied it sparingly to the outside.
