Questions & Answers

What's the reason this item costs $7 more than what it does at ?

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention! The closest Lowe's to me has the lowest prices.

The roof of my car is sagging, will this work?

it will be on the backside of the saggy bit, it won't leak through. It won't leak through to the saggy part.

Are rubber sealants able to bond with it?

Check out the product info for a list of materials to which this product bonds. A piece of metal is sprayed with it, then a piece of cloth is sprayed, then they are let to dry for a few minutes to twenty minutes before being pressed together. The compound can be used on a variety of materials and for a variety of purposes. In case you have an automobile rubber gasket piece that sticks to the metal car door but does not want to stay in place, spray the rubber gasket where it fits to the metal, spray the car door where the gasket fits, wait 10 minutes, and install it. This product is not suitable for rubber sealants, which is what I don't understand. I think this is a fantastic product and is far superior to

How would this work with a suction cup that keeps falling off a dash cam mounted in a car?

The adhesive works on glass, but I'm not sure it will stay on. Also, you have to go over both surfaces, so it would be difficult to spray your dash in a neat manner. In the end, it would be all over the place. Velcro comes to mind when you think of this

A CAN WITH AN INVERTED opening
3/5

This is the same awesome stuff you receive from 3M, but it comes in an inverted can that must be sprayed downward. This is terrible for doing a boat ceiling. The description wasn't read fully by me, and yes, I am to blame. As a result of this headline, I hope someone who rushes through ordering like I did does not have to deal with that.

Spraying does not seem consistent
3/5

It does not cover well and comes out in globs. It doesn't matter how much I shake the can prior to using it, the spray comes out in large globs that cannot cover the surface. There is no fine spray here, just what looks like foam. To see how the nozzle works, I went to the 3M website and mine does not look anything like what it appears on the website. It seems that the nozzle is able to be rotated to direct flow horizontally or vertically. The nozzle on my unit cannot be rotated as shown online. I had to use pliers to make it work and when I tried to rotate it, it sprayed.

I used it to fix a headliner in Ranger, and it worked like a charm
5/5

In order to improve the look of a sagging headliner, I used this adhesive to replace the fabric. The fabric stays up well with it, and it worked well.

It is a nice product, but very expensive
4/5

The adhesive on these is SUPER strong, so that is obviously the main advantage. So far I haven't had any issues with my new shoes. It has been two weeks since I posted some laminated signs in the outdoor environment, and they are still holding up well. There is only one con the price is high, but in this case When it comes to spray glue, I recommend getting this if you are willing to pay a few more bucks for better quality.

The software is easy to use but can be a little tricky
5/5

I like it. The tent I was using for storing lawn equipment was punctured by a limb which came down through the top and created about a 3 inch diameter hole in it. In the beginning, I tried tape that stated it could be used to repair RV awnings and that would last for a long time. I could only keep the tape for 2 weeks before it started falling off. It is a spray adhesive that I have used previously to adhere Formica to countertops and foam to wood. In addition, since 3M is probably the most well-known company when it comes to adhesives, I decided to give it a shot. My first step was to clean the tent surface and then cut a piece of plastic from a free reusable plastic grocery bag (similar to a regular grocery bag, but thicker and more durable). As well as the tent and the plastic I cut from the bag, I sprayed them. Then, I let them dry for a few hours until tacky (it looks similar to rubber glue at this point). As soon as I finished adhering the plastic to the tent, I removed it. It's been a month or two since the repairs and it hasn't come loose or leaked since then. It would be nice if it weren't for the fact that you have to hold the can upside down (compared with how you typically hold an aerosol can). This is the only thing that we like about the can. It is also easy to overspray because it does not appear like the entire surface has been covered. If I were to do it again, I might use something like a foam paint brush or perhaps a drywall scraper or rubber scraper to spread the product around after applying it immediately. Over the years, I have over- This led to me waiting longer for it to get tacky because I prayed. When you test the tackiness with your finger you will find the glue comes up in the spot where you sprayed previously and you will need to spray Using the tackiness as a gauge. Spray a tiny amount of glue, then spray the glue and the item you want to bond at the same time in the same proportions. If you are testing something that will adhere directly, do so with the sample first. You will be able to test the tackiness this way without affecting what you are trying.

This seller's products are not to be purchased
3/5

Despite my attempts to return the item, the seller refused to accept it. In other words, I need to use it with "bad results". In any case, it seems like the adhesion is okay. In this case, it appears that the seller reclaimed a discontinued item from the channel and resold it. Instead of buying from this seller, please go to HomeDepot or Lowe's.

It is a one-star review
3/5

There was definitely no adhesion between vinyl and However, the seams still came apart a full night after it had been allowed to dry. The adhesive quality of the product is very low. I will not purchase it again.

There are so many things you can do with it
5/5

It is a really strong and nice This is something I use all the time. When I see this, I feel like a guy. Having this done by me, I'm Mrs. Fix It. My son even used it for his school shoe which was totally damaged when he brought it home. I don't like them! Once again, everything is new. I'm quite good at the hold when I'm doing it right. As long as you follow directions, the program will do what it is supposed to.
