However, I haven't tried it on upholstery foam yet. It was successful on Styrofoam, but I haven't tried it on any Styrofoam cannot be melted by it and I've successfully used it on a variety of panels composed of Styrofoam.
There is a 100 square foot mark on the can. In addition, it can also be used in two other ways. You can apply it to one surface only or both surfaces for best results. were to use the recommended both surface method, you would have to cut in half the area, which would be 50 square feet
My goal was to bond Owens Corning pink polystyrene board to a corrugated steel deck using this adhesive. The board and the steel deck were both covered in adhesive, after which the two surfaces were coaxed together. The steel deck was my ceiling, so to give the adhesive a chance to come up to strength, I supported the PS board against the steel deck with two wooden T's. I found the method to work well.
That is not something you should use. Considering that this is an adhesive, gaps will not be sealed. A better alternative is to use foam panels or "GREAT STUFF", which doubles as a gap filler and an insulator.

FRP was attached to polystyrene foam (the pink stuff) in an unheated detached garage and I was pleasantly surprised how well the material held up once it was applied to both materials. Despite the slight decrease in temperature, it hasn't turned too cold yet During the review process, I may revise this review if it fails. It tends to set pretty quickly and is a pain to undo once it is set. Make sure to align items perfectly on the first attempt. The FRP strip was 3" by 4' when I adjust it for a minute or two after the adhesive is applied and I thought I would rip the polystyrene off. It did, however, separate in a clean manner, and I was able to manipulate it behind the correct angle so that it reassembled A set can be applied without further.
Polystyrene foam board was used to connect aluminum siding to this material. The application process is the same for normal and extra strength products. In the following 24 hours, both failed. A piece of polystyrene foam would fall from an aluminum plate.
Only one of a very few contact cements that does not This spray sprays on in a fairly homogeneous layer, then you wait 2 minutes Let the pieces dry for 3 minutes, then bond them Don't let those fumes get in your face As soon as the glue gets tacky enough to bond, solvent vapor begins to be released. While I wouldn't want to be exposed to these fumes on a regular basis, for my quick and small job, lots of ventilation resulted in no issues. An outdoor setting would make this experience even more enjoyable.
Rather than a spray, it comes out pretty much like silly string. Adhesion is certainly strong with this product.
I was unable to use the spray glue because the spray nozzle broke in the first use, so now I have a wasted can.
The adhesive works perfectly against rigid foam and gives a very strong hold.
A replacement wall was attached to our RV using this method Foamboard insulation did not melt since the insulation got really stuck. This is a highly recommended book.
