Questions & Answers

Is this a good adhesive for carpet tiles that have come loose?

It was used to adhere the padding to the wall of the pool by my pool installer. In the manufacturer's description, they mention that it can be used for carpet backing, so it seems like it would work for carpet tiles.

There is some vinyl plank flooring that needs to be glued down that I would like to install. What are the pros and cons of this product? What will happen if I paint a light tile blue?

Flooring made with vinyl should not allow colors to bleed through. A floating floor is normally designed for that purpose Laminate flooring is no different from any other For more information, seek the advice of a professional.

Can you tell me what the temperature range is of this product? I want to spray this on some xrd foam and let it dry before applying it to a long board. How can I do that?

As I mentioned, I wasn't really aware of the range of temperatures that I had to use, so I warmed the materials I was bonding from about 35 degrees to about 75 and then took the items outside to about 40 degrees. I rotated the material 45 degrees and sprayed one piece. The materials were left to dry for a while before they were bonded. There have been at least two weeks since they were bonded and they are still strong.

How can I use this product on stair treads that are on hardwood floors without damaging the hardwood? What does the rubber backing look like once it's sprayed?

Thank you for your interest It is my pleasure to answer. In addition to bonding the treads to the wooden floor, this adhesive would also damage the finish on the wood floor if removed.

On top of Dynamat Extreme sound deadener, I used this to fasten aerospace heat insulation to the floor of my truck. I believe that it works just as stated, and I find that I also used a bit of the 3M #90 spray adhesive for this project as well, but it won't stick quite so well.

In an attempt to repair the fabric on the ceiling of the car (2004 Crossfire), I used some tack tape. I was unable to get the adhesive to work in this situation.
