If you spray both the metal and the fabric, wait a few minutes, and then carefully push them together, it will work great. Spray just enough water on the fabric to dampen it, but not more. To see if it dissolves synthetic fabrics, do a test beforehand. When the fabric and metal are joined, push them together to form an intimate bond.

I made large butterfly wings (as seen in the photos) and had to sew a lot of felt pieces together. Due to the size of the felt, using a glue gun for anything other than small pieces was too time consuming, and sewing was not an option. I decided to give this glue a shot, and I'm glad I did! I used this glue to adhere felt to a piece of poster board, followed by another piece of felt on the opposite side, and finally cut-out felt pieces to the felt base. To put it all together, I sprayed one side of the felt with this glue and waited 30 seconds or until it felt tacky. The pieces were then adhered to the canvas. It didn't make a lot of mess, and the glue held up really well; I didn't have any issues with it coming undone once it was dry. I spilled some of the glue on my kitchen table, but it was easily cleaned up with rubbing alcohol. I'd recommend opening a few windows if you're using it inside because the fumes can be quite strong! Overall, I was blown away by how well this held my costume together, and I would use it again for similar projects in a heartbeat.
I'm making some custom amplifier and speaker cases out of Tolex and covering them in black - a type of vinyl commonly found in guitar amplifiers. The 3M Super 77 spray adhesive proved to be ideal for the task. It's simple to use, takes a reasonable amount of time to dry, and has excellent adhesion with no lumps. br>br>A word of warning: Use drop cloths to protect surfaces you don't want to be sprayed, and a solvent that won't harm the vinyl. I came across the 3M citrus-flavored This should be done with a water-based spray glue remover. br>br>With the right glue and solvent on hand, what can be a messy, time-consuming job went smoothly and produced professional-looking results. results that look good.
Your mother-in-law will be glued to the wall with this stuff! I was blown away by how well it adheres to the floor and how quickly it dries; I threw carpet in the back of an old BMW and was blown away by how easily and strongly it adhered to the floor. Not to mention that I did it all with less than a can, and all the residue on my fingers washed away easily. This was a huge hit for 3M.
For a spray, this stuff has a lot of punch. on, but it's extremely toxic and difficult to control, as you might expect. Also, it has the same issue as duct tape in that it sticks to itself when applied to fabric. It's convenient as long as you use it responsibly.
It's still holding up remarkably well after 15 years. I just bought another can of Super 77 because we had to replace a few floor tiles that had been smashed while moving furniture. I'd buy it again and recommend it to everyone. br>br>All you have to do is clean the floor, lightly spray it, wait 5 minutes for it to tack up, peel it off, align it, and stick it down. That concludes our discussion. Overspray can be easily removed with an old sock soaked in rubbing alcohol. br>br>10 out of 10!.
THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT. My Barska Loaded Gear Hard Case styrofoam inserts were being used for a small project. I contacted Barska, who advised that using 3M Super 77 adhesive spray is the best way to ensure that the foam sticks together and does not separate. I placed an order for this item, and it arrived in a timely manner. Because this is a pressurized container, the 1 or 2 day delay is due to the fact that it must be shipped by ground. As a result, if you order this, expect a small delay. I followed the instructions and the job came out perfectly intact and clean, with no peeling or separation. If you need this product, this is a great option; just make sure to follow all of the instructions and be careful around open flames and ventilation. All directions must be read, followed, and understood, and the empty can must be discarded with care.
I'm finally framing some family photos to put up on the wall. A co- This product was recommended by a coworker for sticking the picture to the wall. It performs admirably. I only have one piece of advice for users: If you're spraying this inside, make sure you have some acetone (a really good nail polish remover) handy to clean up any excess.
I placed another order for this spray adhesive, but received the incorrect product. I got my package. It takes a long time to dry, and when you touch it, the tags simply fall off. The glue has simply stopped working since they changed the formula. In California, it appears that the original type of adhesive is no longer available, and I have no need for this new formulation - It's completely ineffective.
