Resin, which is great if used with the FabPro1000 from 3D Systems, should only be used on that machine. The author of the one star review misunderstood the point, as it is quite clear in their response. Never mix resins of different types. Upon scanning the printer's barcode, the printed settings are verified. The bottle contains a barcode that is scanned by the printer. not yet experienced a print failure with this product since following the instructions on the label has consistently produced good results. A model made with this resin is durable and easy to maintain. The printer comes with a high-resolution printhead that I have used to print scope rings and mechanical parts. Even though the price is high, the quality is as good as it gets. Purchasing some extra print trays to store your resins will make the experience a lot better. If you plan to print with more than one resin, use 1kg per resin and you won't have to worry about running out of resin.
This has caused me to experiment with many different settings (which I have GUESSED at because there is ZERO info on page/website of the company, which is completely lame) INCLUDING trying to mix with other rigid resin and I have wasted time and money doing so. A dollar. In case you are looking for a flexible resin that is reliable for SLA/DLP printing, here's a suggestion for you Take a look at MONOCURE.
There has been a 264% increase in price over the last 6 months. As far as resin goes, 3D systems printers are not open source. There is a built-in scanner on the bottle that scans a QR code, so the resin you use must be one of theirs. Information like this is not available to the public. My experience over the last few years has been with seven different types of castable resin. The worst of them all, but it does get the job done. In September of 2020, the same resin cost me $101. I originally bought this printer in September of 2020. Approximately six months ago, 3d systems started selling their entry-level fabpro1000 printers on Amazon for a low price. It was originally priced at 5k when it came out. Around 1200 was the price I paid. The price has gone down even further. I am not trapped using a 3rd rate resin when I choose to use the "other" brand because its software is superior and it is open source. Do yourself a favor and go buy B9 emerald resin if you're planning to print pieces to cast. The difference is that it is a much better product. It is also 100 dollars cheaper. It is apparent they are trying to maintain the discounted value of the printer by increasing the resin costs. Over the long run, this printer will prove one of the worst purchases you've made. As a result, they.
My 3d bird worked perfectly when I printed it.
