If you wanted to scan a car, this model would be the best since it would require a lot of target stickers and a lot of RAM. It doesn't say what the max dimensions are, so this would just be an assumption. You can probably find out more information if you contact Einscan.
Probability is not great. Software for the SE and SP scanners is available as beta on the Mac (turntable) There are only versions of the Pro, but no Since the SE and SP software is very old and has not been updated, it is not working properly.

It was ok but I thought it was a bit too rough. Including a USB drive included with the software that comes with it is extremely outdated (EinScan), and the Solid Edge software was corrupt and would not It is advertised as "Industrial" which led me to believe that I would be receiving the complete Industrial Package, which includes a tripod and turntable. My package included neither, so I had to settle for the "basic. ". Due to the fact that this product loses tracking constantly in high speed scan mode, it is really only suitable for using it on a tripod. It's not too difficult to construct a turn table by using the marker stickers included with the package on a matte finish grey painted lazy susan. The scanner must be mounted on an adapter in order to attach to the tripod. It may be possible for you to come up with a solution if you are creative.
As a matter of fact, a 5k scanner is worthless immediately out of the box. Following the instructions, I installed the programs. After the installation, there was an activation screen to complete. The only thing that happens after numerous attempts is an error message that says "Download failure"br>br>With support based in China, we do not know how long it will take them to resolve this issue.
