ANTI-MICE ACTION: Steel wool rolls can keep mice out of your house. All you have to do is cover and block any gaps, cracks, or holes with our steel wool, and small animals will not be able to get in. Steel wool acts as a barrier, preventing small animals from chewing through it.

Gaps between foundation and sill plates or framing in homes, barns, farm silos, and metal buildings are all examples of where this product is used. Around brick walls, duct systems, windows, ventilation holes, wall panels, and so on, there are holes or gaps.

EXCELLENT MATERIAL QUALITY: High-quality steel wire is soft, thick, and fluffy, and it won't break easily. Steel wool pads can be bent into any shape and effectively fill small holes in the house. It has a lot of sharp fibers in it. It can keep mice out while still allowing air to pass through.

APPLICATION AND PACKAGING: Two packs of steel wool and a pair of gloves are included in the package. Steel wool is a soft, easy-to-cut material. You can use scissors to cut the hole to the desired size. To avoid being cut, make sure to use gloves when using it.

That's where I put them to use, and they worked great.

Yes, fill the hole with steel wool filler; it will effectively keep small animals out!

Is this a fine or a coarse sand?

I believe it should be coarse because otherwise it will not be strong enough to keep the rats out.

I didn't realize there were huge gaps around the pipes under my sink until our building began to have a mouse problem, and my unit became one of them. br>I couldn't figure out how the little scumbags got in. We hired an exterminator, who set up bait stations and traps throughout the house, but he told me that he couldn't fill the gaps around the pipes and that I'd have to hire a contractor to do so. After some research, I came across this stuff, and so far, so good. Wear gloves and be careful when cleaning up the small shards that will inevitably fall from the product; once you've finished cutting it, be sure to clean up the small bits that fall because touching or stepping on them will hurt you. I've managed to get a couple of splinters in my feet! I can tell you're a tiny little shard of pain. Cutting the fabric over newspaper and wiping any splinters with a damp paper towel are two things I recommend doing. But that's great because it means the mice won't be able to get into my house.

Very good quality. During the winter, I use steel wool to seal any gaps in my trailer to keep mice out. This wool is simple to work with and adapts to irregular openings with ease.

It's functional, but the gloves are cheap and thin

It appears to be preventing mice from using the gaps and holes that have been filled with it. It's very sharp, and the gloves that came with it were not very durable and quickly ripped.
