My 93 Nissan Skyline required window tinting. The defroster lines on the back glass had residue on them. Rather than dealing with it, it was preferable to replace it. A rear window costs $2,000 to ship to the United States. So I tried alcohol, goo gone, and windex, only to see no results after two days. Glass can be cleaned with the finest 0000 wool, according to what I read online. I only did it as a last resort. What do you know, it took care of it completely. Life is wonderful now that the car has been tinted. Use with caution.
