Steel wool is better for preventing rust when you don't want to expose steel fibers to rust

It works great, but I thought I would get finer fibers than I did. Depending on what steel wool it is, it is hard to tell what size it is, as most steel wool has a zero rating, 0, 00, 000, 0000,.

Bronze Wool is my dominant choice for buffing my cedar decks instead of Brass Wool. I was happy with this product. The advantage of Brass (and Bronze) Wool is that it doesn't rust.
