HOMAX PRODUCTS 10121000 Number 000 Steel Wool, 12-Pack

Steel wool in this package is of poor quality. As you pull it out of the package, it disintegrates, resulting in strands of dust all over the place! I'm not a novice in the garage; I bought this to use on a wood restoration project, and as I'm preparing the wood for staining, many small strands of steel wool break off and become stuck in the grain of the wood! If you're serious about woodworking, don't buy this steel wool; it produces a lot of wool dust and easily breaks apart. It caused me hours of frustration and forced me to spend a significant amount of time cleaning up the steel wool dust from my workspace. RECOMMENDATION: DON'T USE THIS PRODUCT AGAIN.

Good product; not much to say except that it was significantly less expensive than what I could get at a big box store. This is a good quality product that I used to sand down some handcrafted Christmas ornaments that had sat in tung oil for a little too long. After a coat of paste wax, the surface is smooth and beautiful.

On the internet, the term "12 pack" was misinterpreted to mean "12 packages," when it actually meant "12 pads. " They are engaging in deceptive advertising and are well aware of their actions. Please, Amazon, take them off the market! br>I would have paid a third of the price for Amazons!.
