Steel wool can be easily cut and installed in small cracks or damaged areas around the house using ordinary scissors. Steel wool can cut your hands, so please wear gloves.

Steel wire wool is soft, thick, and fluffy, and it can be bent to fit into corners or around other objects. Steel wool resembles wool in that it is made up of thousands of high-quality metal fibers. Small creatures cannot chew Steel Wool because it contains sharp fibers, but it allows air to pass through.

Steel wool can be cut to fit any hole or gap, including holes or gaps around brick walls, duct systems, air conditioning equipment, windows, ventilation holes, wall panels, and so on.

To avoid injury to children and pets, keep a safe distance from them. Check for damaged steel wool on a regular basis and replace it if necessary. Steel wool may rust if exposed to water, but this has no effect on the product's performance.

I believe it would prevent them from getting under the garage door, but the smaller ones manage to get through.

It could be a little thicker, but it should get the job done

This roll of steel wool appears to be light in weight, which turned out to be a good thing because I needed to tuck it behind and between the siding and foundation to prevent mice from entering my home. It could have been a little thicker if it had been a little thicker. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it works!.

It's not steel wool, but iron wool

I was hoping to use these to replace the original steel chopstick holders in my dishwasher. This steel wool rusts after each wash, unlike the previous steel wool I had. The dishwasher is covered in residue, and nothing cleans up. The steel wall crumbled in my hands as I attempted to remove it. This isn't steel, by any means. This stuff rusts a lot.

It appears to be a difficult task

I tried stuffing this into the gaps where the stucco rain screed had rusted out, but the gap was a little too small. On a larger gap, I'm sure it would have been perfect. It appears to be difficult to work with, but it appears to be doable.

Mine came in a roll that wouldn't unroll, and I couldn't cut it with scissors, so I had to resort to wire cutters.

Steel wool of exceptional quality

It holds up well to being stuffed into cracks. There was a gap through which squirrels could enter. 4 yards of steel wool were used to fill the gap. They discovered some chew marks but were unable to extract the wool. They then attempted to vent the dryer, but I had already packed that in. So far, neither of them has seen a squirrel. To remove the path, baseboard heating was also used.
