Sheetrock is the only surface I have tried them on. My previous method of sanding was with sand papers. I am hoping the block will be much In the end, sand paper wrapped around a random small box actually works better than I found the blocks to be dull and not as effective as I had hoped. Although they can be rinsed off afterward and reused, this is one of the benefits of them. In light of the low price, I will keep them for my future needs. Wood might be a better choice for them.
