It seems to be a bait and switch to show a genuine 3m product but then ship a generic one.
It was okay, but I was displeased since I had been expecting something similar to what I'd used in the past. The online experience when I tried to order another item was very bad because of the pandemic. It was because of this that I had to buy this online. This product is much better, but is only about half as effective as my original maroon scratching pads. The only online store I know of does not sell them.
In the past, I have used material from 3M for superior, but this is not that material.
Gray pads are more difficult to find in regular stores, so you may want to get them if you can. There is too much harshness in green pads Choosing gray ones for polishing up parts on the lathe results in an appealing patina.
Considering the price, this is a great deal. In the case of what we needed, they did a good job. These large chunks of wood are cut into small sizes due to their size. For the entire duration of the project, they should be sufficient.
