I'm not sure, but I won't be purchasing anything else. Many of the sheets were so brittle that they shattered as soon as they were used.
The 3,000 is used to remove scratches from the alloy wheels on the Lexus RX450h's alloy wheels.
The 3,000 grit wet/dry product is quite impressive; in fact, the entire grit range is useful for a variety of tasks. My wife's Lexus RX450h has curb rash, and we use the 3,000 grit to get rid of it. On my 2015 Xterra Pro 4X, we raked a broken limb from the door bottom, and I'll try the 3,000 on the wet scratches this week. The same grad can be used to remove tarnish from AlClad cookware.

I gave this 2000 grit wet dry paper four stars instead of three because the structure is satisfactory. However, it should be noted that this grit is closer to 800 than 2000. I knew this instinctively, but I decided to give it a shot by polishing a blade I had recently sharpened. After that, I had to polish out the dull scratched finish from the "2000" grit with 3M brand 1000 grit. If accuracy is important to you, do yourself a favor and pay a little more. If you only need to remove a small amount of metal and aren't planning on polishing it, this paper might suffice.

This is the only way I'm going to get rid of the nasty soap scum and hard water stains that have built up on my glass shower surround. It's tough enough to get the job done while also being gentle enough not to scratch the glass. When we showed our last house (which we sold in August), we received numerous compliments on how clean the windows were. I had to move to a new place, and it was the worst I'd ever seen. After 20 minutes, the glass looks as good as it did in my previous home. Use 2500 grit if at all possible. Scratching will occur if you use any less.
After being dissatisfied with the papers available at my local hardware store, I placed an order for this. Grit is denser than standard sandpaper, giving it superior power on woods like basswood, elm, maple, birch, and ash. The only disadvantage is that the paper is brittle, as at least a couple of others have noted. Before the grit wears out, it begins to crack and disintegrate. Still, short of emery cloth, it's superior to anything else I've tried. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because of its proclivity for cracking. br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "creative I didn't try it with sanding blocks because I was sanding irregular pieces, but the cracking could be an issue. I also didn't try wet sanding with it.
I used a piece of this to sand down an unfinished piece of cedarwood I got from Amazon. The grit was ideal for what I needed it to do, and it worked out beautifully. The remaining sheets will be saved for future projects. If I need more grit sizes, I'll definitely buy this brand again.
I'm in need of a large quantity of grits for a small project. This is exactly what I needed. Not wet- They're dry, so when I wet them, they fall apart.
I found 25 Petosky stones for my 5th grade students to hand polish with this sand paper, and it worked perfectly for my school project. They found it to be extremely durable, and they had a blast doing it!.
The black sand stuff starts to fall off after about 10 minutes of regular sanding. Maybe it's just a bad piece, but I'm not holding my breath. I'll continue to use them, and if the rest is worthwhile, I'll update and apologize.
