You can use this emery cloth for a great result. When removed from the roll, it is easy to tear while maintaining strong enough strength The metal will be cleaned of corrosion, and sharp edges will be smoothed. The sandpaper is so much better than regular sandpaper, I'm so glad I bought it It was just a matter of nailing it into the wall and hanging it.
