Despite its apparent softness, this is a very sharp sand paper. As though it were a thousand miniature chisels, it cuts through wood. When it cuts wood, you can feel it. It has a tough backing, so it doesn't easily tear. The device is used in conjunction with a 3M handle fitted with a pad and a hole to dispense fluid Since this roll has a sticky back, it's easy to unroll and place in the sanding block. This dispenser is a little pricey, averaging around $14, but it is very comfortable and ergonomic as well as just the right size. The sandpaper is inexpensive and will last longer than regular sandpaper. The value offered by this item is better. Among my favorite combinations of sanding blocks and paper in my home shop, this one is my favorite. The white sandpaper from 3M is much better than the brownish sandpaper sheets that are prone to tearing easily and don't last as long as this sandpaper or are as sharp as this sandpaper. In combination with the sanding block (a red, plastic block with a cavity for a sandpaper roll), a few of these rolls will make a great gift and are very inexpensive. I would highly recommend for anyone doing any There should be a different sanding block/dispenser for each grit to avoid having to remove one to go to another grit since the sticky sides of sandpaper do not make it easy for that to happen. It would be ideal if you could use two sanding blocks and two grits to sand. The only block I have for everything has a 120 grit sandpaper on it.
The Stikit sandpaper rolls and holders have been used for many years on a wide range of woodworking projects for our daughter's crib to changeable crib to youth beds for our grandchildren and we have enjoyed them immensely. Similarly, the sandpaper performs exceptionally well regardless of the conditions, as do the holders (two large and two small). Powerful sanders will not get into places most powered ones will and we will have complete control over how much material is removed. It is a great value for the cost and is well made as well. It has been a long time since I have used these In addition, as you use up the sandpaper, you do not have to discard a whole sheet - this is one of my favorite features Continue to pull out an inch or two until your work is done. Although I wish they were not so expensive, this is a very efficient way to dispense sandpaper, and it is probably easier to use.
Still one of the best products out there that cuts well, smoothly, and quickly with very uniform scratches.
While the product does exactly what it is supposed to, I would like it to be a lot tackier. It is found that the product tends to slip when moderate pressure is applied.

I was blown away by the quality and price of this product.
Exactly what I was looking for. I do woodwork, I have it filled as I want.
