Cleaning copper pipes with this before sweating them is a necessity for me. do not know how it would work on a glass, but it can definitely be used damp.
The emery cloth is too coarse and difficult to work with it is not the one I expected.
I am going to answer this with an emphatic NO. This product will damage polished porcelain. If you don't have a plumber or a hardware store near you, you may need to consult one. If the problem is severe, you may have to replace your toilet which I had to do for the same issue.
I'm with you. Aluminum oxide does indeed exist in this emery cloth. Thank you for your feedback, EZ- - It's free.

My preference is for the roll format rather than cutting sheets or tearing strips from them as I am not a fan of tearing. There are no coarse grains on it Some of it was used to clean up an old hammer, rusted chisels, as well as screwdriver blades that were rusty. I had good luck with my first 3" strip and it lasted longer than I expected it to.
There are so many linear feet here, so it is a great value. This stuff is so thin and I didn't use more than 6" of it for a copper job I did over two days. roll is very durable and can last for a very long time. It is very convenient to use because you can cut it without even needing a knife. I can rip it just like duct tape with little effort, but it isn't so easy that it will tear during use. In addition, the grit seems to last for a long time.
A lot of my fused glass has sharp edges, so I purchased this product specifically to smooth them out. This is a great app. Glad to hear that.
My DIY projects can be completed with it.
Emery cloth of good quality. Dispenser box that is comfortable to use.
I always thought these were two very different types of abrasives.
I was very pleased with this product as described.
Taking it to the limit.
