Layne, how are you? I appreciate the question you asked. 3M 01688 Stikit Red 2-way adhesive tape can be purchased here A 3/4" x 25 yard roll of abrasive sheet has an 80 grit.
Sanding is more aggressive on gold because it is backed with heavy weight paper. A red sandpaper will give you a finer finish.
As a dry abrasive, it should only be used as directed. Water will be tolerated for a short period of time, but if exposed for an extended period of time, it will begin to deteriorate.

roll that is sticky & durable The gritty stuff! In order to regrind an old Marple's chisel, I bought a roll of this. The hand-forged metal must be much older than me, as it has probably been made in England for centuries. I was impressed with how well it stuck to flat surfaces and lasted over repeated use. The water can even be drizzled on top). Compared to all the others so far, it has proved to be remarkably durable There have been times when I needed grit. Not sure if 80-90 is a viable option You can do better than this with grit. However, you are getting an incredible deal here!.
So far, I have not felt the need to upgrade to gold The model in this kit is good enough to sand parts made of 3D printed materials. The adhesive back of the tape has proved to be extremely helpful, even for just adhering the tape to your fingers.
This is without a doubt the best sandpaper for a straight-edged surface sander that lines up with lines. While this product is more expensive than alternatives (like most 3M products), it is well worth the price. If you purchase my product, you will save a great deal more in terms of labor/hassle than the.
It is a great.
Despite being self-adhesive, it is easy to remove. It sticks just enough to stay in place when in use but is still easy to remove upon removal. The paper seems to last a long time without dulling or loading up, but I do not have much experience with other papers.
I like it a lot.
