Thanks for visiting! With a 5/8" arbor, this wheel will work with a 1/2" grinder thanks to the 1/2 inch arbor adapter that it comes with. Your question is greatly appreciated!

Heavy cleaning, paint removal, and rust removal made easy with this wheel. Soft materials should not be used unless they have visible scratches or gouges. Wear strong gloves when using this wheel since it does a great job of cleaning fuzz and hair from white coconuts. As opposed to fine wire wheels, which are good for the skin and fingers, this wheel can remove skin almost immediately.
Does what you expect it to do. You can use the wire wheel to accomplish what you need. That's enough to withstand regular wear and tear. Having said that, I have one complaint I use a 1/2" arbor grinder, and the adapter that comes with it There will be a time when it wears down. It would be nice to have an adapter that is a little more durable than the plastic one that came with it.
I had to clean rust off some tools and pay off some others to get it to work.
I really like the way it works.
It appears that they are made of stainless steel. That was not what I expected. We need a bit of truth in advertising. Mild steel is too harsh for this product.
Wire wheels work great and sell them for a lot.
