Since I did not know they came in different sizes, it took me a while to find the right one for the older grinder I found (which also The only problem is that it does what I need, but you have to wear glasses (wire pieces and debris will fly), and the guard must be in place. However, I hope it will still be available if and when I need to replace it.
They fit perfectly on my 1/3hp bench motor with a 5/8" arbor. It did an excellent job of removing paint and rust from bolts and car parts, leaving a smooth surface that can be painted.
I will buy it The product is of good quality, since I've been using it for over a month now and not a single bristle has come out and hit me. The bench grinder itself seems to be built well and seems to be balanced, as it does not vibrate during use.
The black and decker bench I use only for small jobs is an old one. The only size available in box stores was six inches. I needed this and it works well for me.
An obvious sign that it was made cheaply. I expect that it will not last very long, but it will still work.
Has been working for a few days now without any broken bristles.
Small machines are well suited for this program.
