Two grinding wheels can be held in a bench grinder. In order to set the width of the wire brush at the same level as that of a grinding wheel, spacers must be attached to each side of it. Ohne these spacers, the wire wheel will not be held in place by the holding nut. It is proprietary to the manufacture of this brush to use these spacers. The original spacers that came with my Black and Decker wheels would not fit on There are now a number of washers that I need to buy It would be costly to skip this step after tariffs on steel are applied.
Despite buying these wheels for a lesser price, I have ended up using them a lot more than I expected. Rust can be easily removed from old tools by cleaning them out.
Because his old wheel was losing wires and was too dangerous for him to operate, we got him this one.
There seems to be a lot of them. In order for them to work on the grinder I just bought, I needed to add washers. It is possible that they are not wide enough, or possibly the grinder is not designed to have a It didn't really matter which way I went, as long as the price was reasonable.
I've had better wire wheels, but these are a bit all over the place compared to other wire wheels I have owned. Though they work fine, they still need to be updated.
Quite good in terms of fit and function, though the brush could be a little stiffer.
My grinder required me to put a washer between the bushes and the shaft. Wire wheels are used to remove rust and other dirt, but the bristles have a tendency to fly off periodically during use. This is a very dangerous situation. As long as I am using an apron and a face shield, I am protected.
This is garbage. Less than a minute after it started, it fell apart.
