Since it's a metal brush, I would say yes. It worked great on my car, but I am assuming you have a metal boat rather than a fiberglass one with rust marks
I would guess that's not the case. This is a little too coarse for my tastes.
The answer is yes. We recommend a fine brush, however, since aluminum is very soft and a coarse brush will remove too much surface very fast. This item can be used to replace our fine brush
In my opinion, the coarse is to blame.

As far as I can tell, this brush is well built. In addition to removing rust and paint, it was quick and easy to use on a piece of steel sheet material that I am It's most important to notice that this brush has a COARSE texture. By quickly removing surface material, it gets down to metal's bare surface and it leaves brush strokes (i. e. For those who want that brushed steel look or for those who plan to paint, this is good because a lot of material is removed and the surface will be scratched, but keep in mind that it removes a lot of material. The thin piece might be a little too easy to wear through if you don't take care. As a whole, this brush is effective at removing surface debris quickly.
The drill cup I received today was just delivered to me. As a result of its effectiveness in removing rust on my outdoor grill, I was greatly impressed. The screws were literally rust free after it was applied! A rust proof coating is currently being applied to my grill, as the inside is in pristine condition, but the outside has been exposed to the weather for quite some time. I highly suggest you use this product! I used my Dewalt drill to use it and it worked fine.
With a 3/8" 18 volt drill, I was able to complete the job. The process was accelerated greatly as a result of your help. I bought 4 more after the first one was used. Although I did order two different sizes for the tight spot at the corner of the vertical and horizontal piping, I still purchased two different sizes for easy access.
When I use a drill or better yet, an air tool (with the correct adapter), I do not have to do anything but watch it start and spin. There is no way that this one will fly apart after a couple of runs.
This is a really cool drill attachment! For reconditioning my cast iron skillet, I used this as well as some fine steel wool. Surface rust from the metal rooftop carrier from my car always came off with this solution. Make sure your eyes are protected. Metals fly when it is in contact with this thing.
He used it and was pleased with it. He also appreciated that it could be used with a drill. I surprised my husband with this
He used this product and was impressed
He was thrilled that he could use it with the drill
Beat him on the way to the store! It is now more clear to me what he needs and I will purchase a product similar to it.
Getting some surface rust off an 05 Silverado underside was the purpose of this purchase, and it seems to be working well.
Since this item is very low cost, I thought that I would need two to finish my steel cabinet refinishing project. As of right now, I am still on bit number one of the wire brushing. There are two doors on the cabinet, one vertical and one horizontal Made entirely of steel, this drawer model. This meant that the bit had to perform a considerable amount of work.
