The supplier is a good one. I wanted to make sure everyone is aware that this product has an 80 grit, even though it's stated as a 32133 (320 grit), but Luckily, I was looking for a 32133 at the time and Log Home Maintenance and Supply's customer service representative was very helpful and allowed me to return this brush without charging me You can get the 80 grit model from this company.

I used the 80 grit (this model) from another supplier and it worked perfectly to remove a layer of grime and smooth down some old rough spots. A cedar log hewn by hand. Just use a variable speed polisher, not a grinder (you'll want to keep the RPMs under 6000). From 2000 to I had no problems using the 3000RPM brush and it didn't wear out too quickly. In the process of handcrafting log homes, I have found the Sait abrasive brushes to be one of the best log preparation and finishing tools that we can use. They have proven to be quite effective at cleaning logs to finish them nicely. Occasionally, we will use them to prepare roughsawn materials, so that we can remove some of the roughness that the bandsaw left behind. Having a rustic finish that is pleasant to touch makes it a pleasing addition to any home. The fact that you can find these in a wide variety of grits is great. It has a very good reputation for its abrasive grinding disks, which Having used both Sait and Osborn brushes, we found that they are both good quality. In order to achieve this, you should use a buffer polisher such as a Makita 7" variable speed buffer at a moderate speed with very little pressure applied to will make them last longer and work just as well as they could if they were run at high speeds or if they were directly hit.

On my log home, I used it as a wood prep tool. While preparing logs for staining, this tool does an excellent job of removing a layer of dirt, UV damage, etc. quickly. you've reached the point of being able to control the pressure, you can really highlight the grain of the wood.
