Max. 4,450 RPM is the rotational speed.
I'm not sure if it was made in the United States; I'll have to look into it. It worked well to grind 42 carbide teeth for a tractor-powered stump grinder.

It vibrates, vibrating grinder across table, after mounting this green wheel and then truing it with a diamond dresser. Unusable in every way. There was no problem with my other wheel or any other grinding wheel on its own. It appears to be a manufacturing defect, as it spins and vibrates in the video. I expected the vibration to go away after dressing it when I ran it, but it didn't. Requested a refund from the seller via email.
I'm not sure if it's for carbide, which is what I was looking for. This was supposed to be used to grind carbide tool bits for me. It appears to be green silicon carbide for carbide, but there is no indication on the box that this is the case. (I should also mention that there was nothing on the box in English. ) )br>br>I've only used it a few times, but it works on carbide tool bits, just like the grey wheel on the grinder's other end. I'll put it to good use and try again at a later date.
It exploded and hit me in the head in less than 5 seconds. Visit to the emergency room right away! To say that the quality is poor is an understatement. Do not purchase this product because it is hazardous.
Arbor spacers are useless, as they cause the wheel to run off-kilter. I'll have to make a new arbor adaptor, but I'm not sure it'll work because the center of the wheel is coated in a crumbly substance that looks like a cross between wax and plastic and is bonded to the wheel material. I haven't been able to determine whether it will grind carbide as advertised.
The wheel does not run true after I installed it. There are numerous run-in situations. Remove the center adapters that came with the package. It's possible that I'll have to make my own or do a lot of truing up. br>br>However, it performs admirably on carbide.
The stone appears to have been made of carbide, but it is soft. The stone is easily worn away.
Excellent product.
At the end of the day, it's less expensive than purchasing Jewish teeth!.
