Is this product suitable for sanding the finish? Carvings in five dimensions by CNC?

Personally, I have no idea, but I have inquired with our shipwrights. It is generally agreed that it is dependent on the type of wood used and the coarseness of the nylon brush. By brushing out the softer wood in ours, we were able to create a dimpled effect on wood panels. We also have a CNC machine, so I'm going to recommend that they use the Makita to see if it's more effective than sanding. (I have the same question as you.) The quality is excellent, but the price is not

It works well, but it's pricey, and you should be careful not to wear out the center. Make certain to use the entire brush. Motions across your work piece in a back-and-forth motion.
