It's not compatible with the 1100 series router, unfortunately. I ordered this one by mistake, only to discover that the 11100/1101 has no guides listed as Makita products. It's not even listed on Makita's website. Excellent router, poor accessory availability. Makita, you did an excellent job.
This business is a disaster. This item was packaged in a paper envelope. One of the iron rods was not successful. As a result, I made a request for a single iron rod. They sent me the entire set except for the iron rod. in the same way that the first pakage was done. Then they charged my credit card again.br>This iron rod, in particular, is incompatible with my Makita router. terrible!
Selected User Reviews For Makita 123058-3 Router Straight Guide For 3606
This guide "fits" the 2301 Router, according to a previous reviewer. The guide rails are mostly in the right place, but it's a stretch to say it fits. Because the rail diameter is too small to fit through the openings, the entire guide does not remain perpendicular or square to the router. The number 123058 is a unique identifier. The 3606 model was designed with a 3 guide in mind. In the United States, the correct edge guide for the RP2301FC 3 1/4 Makita Plunge Router is unavailable. BUT ONLY IN EUROPE, JAPAN, AND THE MIDDLE EAST ARE IT AVAILABLE!! Search: "Makita 193312-" is a Japanese word that means "Makita 193312 I found a picture of it attached to the 2301 Router on a Canadian website, and it looks just as good, if not better, than the Festool guides! Makita U was the number I dialed. to find out why it isn't available today. They simply stated that they could not sell anything that was not UL certified. I inquired as to whether it was in the approval process, and their response gave me the impression that they are hoping that it will be approved without them having to submit it. To put it another way, they are unconcerned. Makita U. This is an opportunity that has been squandered. The 2301 router is excellent, and it is on par with Festool plunge routers, but Makita's U. Festool will continue to be superior once the branch is organized and the accessories are available.
Making straight routes became a breeze as a result of this. Gouges should be avoided at all costs. It was well worth the money.
It was an excellent solution.
I'm using a 1/4 HP plunge router, and the distance between the two rods is 4"br>I'm just trying to help. Mike: br>br>Thank you. br> )br>BLESSINGS FROM GOD!.
Makita RP2301FC has a low rating from me. It works, but it's not the best way to tighten from a mechanical standpoint. The screws on the main router hit the outer edge of the rods, resulting in a shoddy fit. I don't care for it, but I don't have a choice because I don't have any.
Without all of the bells and whistles, this is a good product. But, at the end of the day, it all boils down to this: It performs admirably, is durable, and is inexpensive.
bueno.
