The 36 medium grit is a fine grit.
The teeth of my carbide stump grinding machine were ground using this. If it had that strength, it would be able to cut through ceramic like a
I believe that it will be effective in regular drilling. Although drills do not have enough RPM's to operate wheels efficiently, they are well suited for drilling. In your case, it probably won't matter because these wheels will let you drive I have not found a grinding wheel to be as effective as these.
It has a three-eights inch arbor with a quarter inch shank attached, but it is removable with a Phillips head screw, so it could be mounted to a standard 3/8 inch die grinder.

There are no diamond wheels that can cut quickly because they all cut too thick. There is no diamond disc available for die grinders with a grinding FACE at all, and I absolutely With this wheel mounted in an angle die grinder, the operation is far more surgical than that using the conventional 4-inch wheel This combination includes a half-inch wheel and electric angle grinders. It's also pretty aggressive. The result is a rough finish, but you can't have both at the same time. Additionally, I think it is much safer than a bonded wheel. This thing seems unbreakable, so I can't see how it could shatter into.
I like the performance of this wheel, I found it to be It is becoming a bit dull on the leading edge, but still cuts well. The feature allows you to reach areas that are hard to reach. Only downside is the wheel base material is too thin, and it eventually fatigued and broke (at high I would have given it a five star rating if not for this safety issue. I was expecting this to be just another good value, but I'd rather pay a few more $$ for a better built one that lasts.
This wheel is working out for me after I took a chance on it. I replaced the arbor that came with it with a standard arbor since the arbor that came with it was not up to par. I am happy with the wheel itself.
Using it as a grinding wheel is great, it is aggressive. If you are using it like a cutoff wheel, it is hard to control for smooth cuts, because I believe its design is aggressive, and it also makes a wide cut since it is thick.

Using this 3" wheel, I intend to cut tile underneath cabinets that are set on top of tile. We intend to hide the cut with base shoe molding and to lay vinyl plank flooring for flooring up to the cabinet. With this wheel and a die grinder, I was able to cut about 15 feet without any problems. In spite of its age, the wheel is still in good condition, and it eats through tile rapidly.
It has been a pleasure using it.
Grit that is very coarse. Had been under the impression that it would be between.
