The plastic tabs around the tube broke upon installation, indicating that this is not a Dyson part to replace.
My experience was good, so I can at least say it worked for me.
My order arrived and fitted perfectly. It was a little difficult to put in, but I am sure
Though the original appeared to be a little shorter than the replica, it fit perfectly. The price is still very reasonable.

This is a great tool. It is funny how so many people say that this or that broke when installing or the tabs would not stay in place. There's a big possibility that each of them has no idea how to fix the problem. In my case, there were no instructions, but I got by with just using common sense. Cut, or rip out the old hose from the top of the wand attachment assembly if the old one is shot. By turning the plastic screw about 1/4 turn, you will be able to remove the "U" solid suction tube heading to the head. The old vac hose can be slid out of the bottom by removing the small "U" shaped tube. Attach the new hose to the lower fitting by sliding the upper coupling through the bottom hole and aligning the molded tab with the molded hole Suction tube should be replaced with a "U" shaped Obtain the upper hose assembly that is fluttering around and attach the wand to it. A done deal. The entire process took about four.
I ordered a replacement hose and the hardest part was finding an appropriate screwdriver (no one puts things back in their place around here). In the reviews, it is recommended just to pull out the old shredded hose, so that is It was easy to install the hose because the longer end fit through where the bottom of the vacuum cleaner is attached, so all that was needed was to pull To attach/detach the hose from my vacuum, there is a red button on the wand/handle at the top in addition, there is a plastic tube on the bottom of the vacuum that needs to be unlocked to install in the new hose end. This procedure is truly quite easy, and within no time, my vacuum has been restored to like new condition.
I found them to be at a lower price than any replacements I saw. Quality seemed to be an issue for some people. Our system has been dependable so far, and if there were any problems, I am confident that I might be able to replace it a few times for the price of OEM without losing money. The hose is still going strong one or two years after we started pulling it in and out four to five times a week. This has finally ripped. **UPDATE** Well, it ripped eventually. The part lasted 2 years and 3 months, so, as I said before, I could easily buy it several times over for the cost of an OEM part. I have just ordered another one as a replacement and am still very happy with my purchase!.
Obtaining this hose for a much lower price than the OEM. For this model, I watched a YouTube video to show me how to replace the hose since there were some spots that weren't very In any case, it was an easy job, taking no more than 15 minutes and requiring just a small.
It's been about 15 years since I purchased my DC17. Despite the fact that I have never seen it match any other vacuum in terms of cleaning, it costs $500. The new ball design is not what I like, and it appears to be the only ones they In the past few months, the hose near the wand connection has developed some tears. DYSON no longer sells the parts for this vacuum, so I searched Amazon and was able to find it for a great price. For only $15, I had a fully functional vacuum. To remove the old hose, you must disassemble the wand connection, and to install the new hose you must disassemble the new hose and reassemble it.
As suggested above, if the replacement tube was sent in three pieces, it would make it much easier to insert it on the Dyson DC17, since it needs to be taken apart to insert. However, I used a YouTube video as a guide and I followed each step one at a time as I followed the directions. Although it takes a little patience and a little strength, it's a very doable task in the end. In addition, it's a fraction of the price of taking your vacuum to a mechanic. It is hard to tell the difference between the original and this hose. As for the tube and the two parts that are removed then reattached, they have the same look and feel. It's a very good day for me. My Dyson is the best vacuum cleaner I've ever used, and I won't replace it unless it's May we continue cleaning together for many years to come!.
Upon discovering that my DC17's hoist had broken after 12 years (pretty good, eh?) I went on the hunt for a new one. This product caught my eye after reading reviews, so I decided to try it out. They were very quick to arrive. Without any videos or issues, I was able to pop out the old one and put the new one in. Finding out what people are like isn't difficult! As soon as I took it for a spin, it worked like a charm! The bag will be rated 5 stars as long as it holds up and does not rip in a few months. I really liked the replacement and the price was good.
This is a very easy to install product! was no information on the internet regarding the removal of the old hose or installation of the new hose, I went on youtube and found some good instructions on how to do it. There is a plastic elbow at the bottom of the vacuum that needs to be undone. For the lower elbow to be removed, you will need to loosen one plastic screw. In order to slide the old hose out, be sure to remove the top of the old hose. Furthermore, you'll need to pop the "hook" on the electrical cord on the bottom a few inches above You can just turn it on and off. Taking the top off the old hose and running it through the mount, I cut the end off. A brand new hose slipped right in without any effort on my part! I was able to install the new hose in no time. How likely is it that you'll live a long time? It will all depend on what happens. As of now, it is as good as new.
