Is this compatible with the 17250?

If your vacuum model number is 17250, I don't see it listed among the models on the site; in my case, this set of hose and fittings didn't fit my Craftsman shop vac, which has a 2 - gallon capacity. As a result of the 1/4" vacuum opening (inside diameter), I had to return it. Regrettably, the vacuums appear to last much longer than the hoses provided!

Despite claims to the contrary, these shopvacs will not fit older Sears models! I was completely let down

The replacement vacuum hose part number for my machine was listed on Amazon, but the hose and fittings will not fit with the original "tools" or lock into the vacuum power unit. Given the high price, this was a complete letdown. I'm not sure how I'm going to get it back.

Wet vac hose from Craftsman comes to the rescue

My Craftsman shop vac is over 30 years old, and the original hose has split primarily due to abuse. I assumed I'd have to buy a new wet vac because I couldn't find a replacement. Needless to say, I was ecstatic when I discovered this part and even more so when it fit perfectly. I would strongly suggest it.
